New vacation rental located in a hamlet, fully renovated with high-quality finishes, offering 120 m² of living space
You enter through a charming courtyard with a parking space
, a garden featuring a stone terrace and a well-exposed wrought-iron arbor.

Direct access to the first floor, which features a beautiful dining room, a half-bath, and a vaulted stone laundry room (with a washing machine and a large fridge-freezer).

Fully equipped kitchen on the mezzanine level, open to the dining room and living room.

Large living room with two sofas, a coffee table, and a flat-screen TV.

Upstairs, there is a shower room with a toilet and double sinks, as well as two bedrooms with 160x200 beds; one of the two has separate bed frames that can be converted into single beds. The upper level is equipped with motorized skylights and a very convenient rain sensor.
A traditional house that combines original charm with modernity; it is also equipped with air conditioning and an alarm system.

THINGS TO SEE AND DO IN THE AREA
The villages of the Luberon: Bonnieux, Goult, Ménerbes, Lacoste, Saint Saturnin-les-Apt, Saignon, Oppède-le-Vieux, Roussillon, Gordes, and Apt (with its lovely Saturday morning market) are about 10 minutes away; there’s also Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, and many others...

The cottage is located near the village of Gargas, one of the Luberon’s ochre-mining villages. Many small shops (bakery, grocery store, tobacco and newsstand, restaurants, bars, pharmacy, doctors’ offices, etc.) are just a stone’s throw away—no need to drive. It’s also at the foot of Perréal Hill, designated an UNESCO reserve, with the GR6 trail running through it—ideal for mountain biking and hiking.

We’ve stayed in interesting places before, but this one was truly exceptional, thanks to owners with the vision and hands-on skills to transform an aged building into a spacious, well-appointed “gîte.” It met or surpassed all our needs: comfortable beds and plentiful seating, a good laundry area, plenty of plugs for recharging, a functional kitchen, parking right outside the door... and other features you might want in your own home (like smart skylights that close automatically in case of rain). The neighborhood was quiet, and a boulangerie and grocery store were just minutes away. Delightful!

A beautiful gite centrally located in Gargas for exploring the Luberon and Vacluse regions. Wonderfully renovated with all the comforts of home. Owners are welcoming and helpful. The gite has a view of the Luberon mtns, a garden patio, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and living room. Highly recommended for short or long stays.

Superb renovation of a period property. This was a return visit for us. The gite was as lovely as we remembered it. Very clean, with every consideration given to guests comfort and convenience. The hosts are great and we felt very welcome not withstanding the language barrier.

Charming property

We very much enjoyed our ten day stay in this property in Gargas. It is an old building thoroughly modernised and decorated with great taste, while remaining very comfortable. The hosts were very hospitable and helpful. The village has good amenities while being 5 minutes drive from Apt. Plenty of walks, beautiful views and good restaurants are close by. A perfect stay! Thank you.

Quality time

The property was tastefully restored and very comfortable even though it was on 3 floors. You can park your car in front under a shade. It’s close to many beautiful villages. It was easy to communicate with the owner whom with her husband reconstructed the whole building. Amazing when you the pictures. Overall a very nice stay.

Lovely Luberon home

This house is fantastic! It has been amazingly restored by the young family and is gorgeous. It is the cleanest home we have ever rented. After visits to the local markets We enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen. For us it was a great location to visit the towns we wanted to see in the area. Roussillon was about five minutes drive, Lourmarin was about 35 minutes and has the most wonderful Friday morning market. Don’t hesitate to stay here!

Beautifully restored traditional house in quiet hamlet

This property has been painstakingly renovated by the owners and is very well presented. It was very clean. The decor is thoughtful and sympathetic to the property. It is very well equipped. The hosts Laura and Jessi were welcoming and responsive. We enjoyed sitting on the small terrace at the front of the property which is not overlooked by the adjacent properties. The dedicated parking space has an awning to shelter your car from the sun. The property is just outside Gargas which has a boulangerie and a few small shops but it is also just a short drive to the supermarkets in Apt. The property is well located for exploring the villages and countryside of the Luberon. We would definitely recommend the property. Thank you.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet hébergement, à la fois très confortable et joliment décoré. Il offre beaucoup d’espace pour quatre personnes, avec un petit jardinet très bien aménagé.La cuisine, spacieuse et parfaitement équipée, permet de cuisiner confortablement. Nous avons également apprécié la buanderie, qui dispose d’un grand réfrigérateur-congélateur ainsi que d’une machine à laver.Le salon, très chaleureux et cocooning, est particulièrement agréable pour se détendre. Les chambres et la salle de bain sont également très bien aménagées.Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et disponibles. Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte pour un séjour agréable et reposant.A noter toutefois : la maison comporte beaucoup d’escaliers, ce qui peut être à prendre en considération selon les besoins de chacun.

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, liebevoll eingerichtet. Eine super Ausgangslage für unterschiedliche Aktivitäten wie z.B. Gordes. Apt, Rustrel, Rossillion etc. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Lediglich die Gartenstühle sind etwas unbequem, aber da es so heiß war, waren wir kaum draußen.

Wir waren zu Zweit . Ein wundervolles Haus und eine geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Es hat an nichts gefehlt ! Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und haben uns zu Anfang Alles gezeigt . Un superbe gîte rénové par les propriétaires avec beaucoup de goût. On se sent comme à la maison, tout est fonctionnel et cocooning.Les propriétaires sont agréables et chaleureux. Tolles Haus in idyllischer Lage

Wir hatten mit unseren beiden Kindern einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll und hochwertig restaurierten, geräumigen Haus. Es ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet und durch die dicken Altbauwände an heißen Tagen herrlich kühl. In der Küche haben wir alles Notwendige vorgefunden. Das Haus ist prima gelegen, um die Provence zu erkunden. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Gemütliches und sehr ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus

Das Haus liegt ruhig am Rande des Dorfes und ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles war sauber und die Bettlaken,Frottier- und Küchentücher konnten wir für zusätzliche 15 Euro mieten. Alles hat tip top geklappt und die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und können dieses Ferienhaus wärmstens empfehlen. Die Lage war für uns perfekt um die schöne Gegend mit den historischen Orten zu erkunden und zu wandern.

Un super WE en famille pleins de découvertes grâce à la situation excellente du logement pour visiter les carrières d'ocres.Laura et sa famille sont des hôtes très accueillants, le logement est parfait, propre et très agréable.A réserver sans hésiter!!

Nous avons passé une semaine dans le gîte très confortable, calme et parfaitement équipé. Toutes les activités sont à proximité (randonnées, villages perchés et escalade à Buoux).

Tolle Unterkunft mit schöner Einrichtung und liebevollen Details. Lage für uns perfekt. Viele Ausflugsziele und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Dennoch sehr ruhig gelegen.
