Le Somail... Your holiday destination! In this hamlet on the Canal du Midi, come and recharge your batteries in our family home.
On the first floor of the hamlet's former stables, you'll find a recently refurbished and fully-equipped 102 m² gite sleeping four people, comprising two bedrooms (beds 140/200 and 160/200) and a bathroom.
From early morning to sunset, enjoy your private terrace (50m²) and its view of the Pyrenees. To make your stay as comfortable as possible, we can prepare the beds and provide the bathroom linen on request (no extra charge). You will also have access to the house swimming pool (open from 8.30am to 12pm and from 3.30pm to 8.30pm) and to the parking area (2 spaces included) on the property.
Fifteen kilometres from Narbonne and thirty kilometres from Gruissan and the Mediterranean, Le Somail is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday between the sea and the historical, gastronomic and wine heritage.

We absolutely loved our stay. The flat was lovely, spacious and well equipped. The location is excellent, 2 minutes from the bread boat (!) and 4 restaurants. There are also lots of wineries within (easy) cycling distance. Aurore also sorted us out some emergency wifi when there was works on it in the town. Thank you!

Lovely property with easy walking distance to restaurants and the boat shop for fresh bread. Excellent communication from the owner and a very warm welcome to the property. Clean and well maintained with everything we needed for our stay. The swimming pool was really enjoyable as the week we stayed was a heat wave. Also very close to large supermarket. Highly recommended and so close to Narbonne.

We had two wonderful weeks here, the gite is beautiful inside and out with a huge terrace directly above the large pool. Aurore was a fantastic host, extremely helpful . Le somail is a beautiful location with fabulous restaurants and sunsets on the canal, the gite is only a 3 minute walk from the village centre and the canal.

Très bonne adresse!

Gîte conforme à la description et aux photos. Très bon accueil avec petites attentions à votre arrivée. Le gîte est spacieux, pratique, et surplombe la piscine commune avec les chambres d'hôtes. Calme, à quelques pas du canal du midi, de petits restaurants, et d'une péniche-épicerie très originale, ne manquez pas de vous rendre à la bibliothèque du village, elle en vaut vraiment le détour. De très belles visites aux alentours, et à environ 35 à 40 mn des plages. Superbe endroit pour se ressourcer. Nous remercions particulièrement nos hôtes pour leurs accueil chaleureux et leurs conseils .

Excellent accueil et super séjour

Le lieu est paisible et superbe et Aurore, notre hôte, est une personne généreuse, très agréable et à notre écoute si besoin. La maison est très propre et le confort au delà des attentes Le séjour a été bénéfique tant par le calme, le bien-être et les excellentes ondes qui s'en dégagent. Un très bel endroit

Nous avons passé un très beau week-end, le gîte est très confortable, décoré avec beaucoup de goût! Aurore nous a donné quelques conseils pour profité du samedi malgré la pluie et nous a ramené des jeux de société! Merci encore pour cet agréable séjour!

Sehr gemütliche Wohnung!

Wir waren im August 2022 für ca. 8 Tage bei Aurore und Pascal. Wir haben zu zweit im oberen Apartment gewohnt und hatten ganz viel Platz (sehr gemütliches Wohnzimmer), viel Ruhe und auf der tollen Terrasse viel Privatsphäre. Die anderen Wohnungen auf der unteren Etage waren für uns kaum wahrnehmbar. Allerdings waren wir im Verlauf auch teilweise die einzigen Gäste, das war Luxus. Der Ausblick ist toll und die Abkühlung im gemeinschaftlichen Pool super. Der Pool ist sehr sauber. Aurore war immer ansprechbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation auf Englisch lief gut. Der einzige Wehmutstropfen war die doch sehr stark befahrene Landstraße (D607), die recht laut ist. Das hat unseren Aufenthalt jetzt aber auch nicht wesentlich schlechter gemacht. Wir würden diese Wohnung sehr empfehlen und auch noch einmal wiederkommen :)

Alles richtig gut, 5 Sterne

Wir waren zu viert, knapp 3 Wochen im Juli 2022 in Somail bei Aurore und hatten dort eine wunderbare Zeit. Alles war genau so wie auf den Bildern in der Anzeige. Die helle Wohnung samt riesiger Terrasse war ideal und hatte eine großzüge Aufteilung, alles war sehr sauber. Aurore hatte uns sehr freundlich empfangen und die Schlüsselübergabe sowie die Hauseinweisung waren völlig unkompliziert. Aurore hatte auch gleich mehere Tipps für uns, für die Erkundung der Umgebung. Unser Aufenthalt war von Tag 1 an sehr entspannt und erholsam. Der große Pool wurde täglich gereinigt und mit Frischwasser auf eine angenehme erfrischende Temperatur gebracht. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Dinge zu entdecken, besonders gut kann man die Gegend mit dem Fahrrad erkunden. Der kleine Ort Somail liegt direkt an einem Kanal hat gute Restaurants, einen Fahrradverleih, einen tollen "Tante Emma" Laden auf einem Boot mit täglich frischem Baguette/ Crossiants und es gibt im Ort weitere div. kleine Shops die alle fußläufig zu erreichen sind. Aurore ist eine äußerts hilfsbereite Gastgeberin und war immer erreichbar. Durch ihre entspannte Art haben wir uns sofort wohl und wie zu Hause gefühlt. Wir möchten diese Wohnung unbedingt empfehlen und geben gerne die 5 Sterne!!!!! Danke liebe Aurore für diese schöne Zeit bei Dir. Herzliche Grüße aus Berlin, Marion

Magnifique domaine, idéalement situé. Accueil très chaleureux d'Aurore. Maison très confortable, trés beaux volumes, décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Tout y est, mêmele local à vélos.
