Nestled away on quiet street this charming town home is filled with character. An idyllic getaway for a family of four just steps away from the park, surrounded by divine historic homes. Take a stroll beneath the Spanish Moss Trees, and amongst some of the wealthiest homes on Gaston Street.

Enter and step right into the heart home! The open living space is an inviting area to plan your ventures, or catch up to share your favorite part of the day with your group. The large solid wood dining room table is great to host dinners, and enjoy your family cooked meals. The kitchen sits just on the other side, where you'll have plenty of room to prepare meals and a brew a fresh pot of local coffee! You can enjoy your meals, or morning cup of joe at the bistro set in the kitchen, or the private courtyard that sits behind the home.

Upstairs you'll find two bedrooms with comfortable furnishings. The first bedroom sits at the front of the home, boasts with natural light, offers a queen size bed, and ample closet space. Across the hall, you can find a bathroom with tub and shower combination. Toward the back of the home, the primary bedroom awaits you - A large plush queen size bed, with walk-in closet, wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. Don't forget about your small private balcony, that can be opened to enjoy the birds whistling and views of the treelined courtyard.

Enjoy being just a short walk to Forsyth Park, and the Farmers Market that takes place on Saturday mornings. Looking for a coffee shop to kick your day off? Head over to Sentient Bean, just at the end of Forsyth, or Collins Quarters at The Park. Feel like venturing downtown? Start at Bull Street and head South walking through each square until you reach Broughton Street!

Parking is non-metered, on-street. Please be sure to pay close attention to street signs when parking. Street signs state when the street cleaners come, and require you to move your vehicle to an opposite street.

Lovely place for our visit with family over Thanksgiving week! The location was ideal for walking. It was central to driving to areas around the city. The house was great with a small back patio and balcony!

The house was clean. Check in easy. The corner under cabinet light is out. Left note with hot water kettle that didn’t work. It would be good if salt and pepper were at least provided. Only coffee filters left by someone. My advice is if you have trouble with steep stairs this house isn’t older people friendly as both bedrooms are upstairs. Be aware that parking in front of the house doesn’t mean you will be able to park as someone takes your place when you leave. Apparently parking is at a premium there. Fortunately we had family staying in a residential area that we were able to use and they dropped us off. Street sweeps are once a week and again parking is difficult to find. Public transportation is your best option and just leave car. We enjoyed the historic part but no part of parking is easy. Wish we had known earlier so we could have been prepared.

This property is beautiful and clean. Furniture and beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked. The location is perfect. Forsythe Park is right across the street and there's a trolly stop a couple blocks away.

The location was great for what we needed. The cotton reef of the door was a bit much. The personal pictures throughout the house I think was too much. When renting out a space try to keep it neutral. The water pressure was the greatest and we hand to contact to rental company to come and change out the shower heads. We found porcelain dolls in the cabinet which also was a bit creepy. The beds definitely need to be changed out. Me and my other guess backs were hurting and for the amount of money we paid there should have been a Tv in the other bedroom.

Awesome Location

Great location around the corner from Forsyth Park. Enjoyed walking the neighborhood and walking through the many squares down to the riverfront. Also liked how the property had a historic feel to the furnishings. The lockbox to access the property key was a little tricky.

My only reason for leaving less than 5 stars is because there weren't any extra towels, causing a need to do laundry. And there was NO COFFEE. We enjoyed being 1 block from Forsyth Park and the ease to walk to almost all attractions. The home is comfortable and well appointed. The back patio was a nice way to unwind between afternoon outings and evening plans.
