We enjoyed the location of our stay, and Ken provided us with excellent communication throughout the whole process, this could not be faulted. The house smelt a little musty from not being opened up and aired out more frequently, and it was a slight inconvenience taking our rubbish home with us, however it ticked all the boxes we needed for a wee getaway.

Great location for exploring

A nice tidy place to unwind and enjoy the great views. Snells Beach shops are only about 2 minutes drive away with a variety of takeaway meals.

Beautiful Snell's Beach

A very comfortable, clean and warm holiday home. Lovely views. Easy walking distance to and from the beach. Would definitely recommend. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome long weekend getaway

Ideal for what we were looking for which was a nice easy escape for the long weekend. The property is great, very clean and tidy and has everything you would be looking for. The area is great, we enjoyed evening walks on the beach along with a few swims to top it off. All in all, we had a great time

Snells Beach

Nice wee place. Typical pole house with creaky floors,adds to the charm. Nice clean kitchen and bathroom. New oven and washing machine. Comfy beds.. typical low pressure shower, efficient water use! Still hot and effective, kiwi bach.. Great to get couple loads washing done with kids activities etc. And a few trays of scones.. :-) Property manager owner very prompt and efficient. All round great spot close to the beach with a view and playgrounds and shops nearby. Easy walk to everywhere.

Great location

We spent 5 nights at Snells Beach and really enjoyed it. Ken was the most accommodating host I've encountered. The beach was comfortable, well stocked kitchen, and even some beach view from the deck.

Great location, family friendly

We booked last minute for a long weekend away as the weather wasn’t good enough for camping. The house was a great base for us with 3 young children, easy walk to the beach, playgrounds and local amenities. Ken’s communication throughout was quick and informative. Would recommend.

Hinemoa Snells Beach

A good size property, very tidy and a good location for your getaway at the beach only minutes to the beach and very handy to other amenities. Ken the owner was excellent and met us on the night of arrival to check that all was okay a very nice touch. Always good to meet the owner and get some local knowledge from them. Ken was very approachable.

Retro goodness

Nice little house in quite street. The house is basic and a traditional Bach with some awesome original 70's features. Ken the host was very helpful and didn't batter an eyelid when we managed to lock ourselves out.

Great Place to Stay

Right from booking this house, we were impressed with the communication. Ken replied to our request very quickly. Excellent host. The cleanliness of the house would be hard to beat. Location very close to beach and the Matakana area. We would book this house again.

Unfortunately this stay was for work so didn't get to enjoy the area much. Next time we'll make it a holiday.

Disappointing

Fridge doesn't work well. Overall it was shabby and had a very musty smell. Rubbish was to be taken at end of stay very difficult when you are catching a plane..
