Snowgums Mountain Retreat - the perfect retreat location
Located only 90 minutes from Canberra lies the hidden Yaouk Valley, one of the Snowy Mountain Districts best kept secrets. At the head of this valley, nestled between the Namadgi and Kosciousko National Parks, lies the modern Snowgums Mountain Retreat. A unique blend of un-touched Australian Bush, combined with an arboretum-like garden, complete with stunning deciduous trees, swimming and canoe lakes, rivers, wildlife and breath-taking snow-capped views.
This new modern property has been featured in design magazines and is just stunning.
The perfect place to get away from the 'rat race' and just chill or explore the bushland.
So close to Canberra and the Snowy Mountains, yet far enough away to feel completely isolated, Snowgums is one of the most sought-after mountain escape retreats in the area.
Note: A AWD or 4WD vehicle is highly recommend as the access road is not sealed.

Stunning Grand Design!
We loved our stay at Snowgums. It is a stunning property. Unfortunately we had some access issues due to excessive rains, and had to finish our visit early - but the owner was really lovely and accommodating. We’ll come back after the roads have been fixed! The house was really well appointed and we had some fabulous screen-free family time there!

Thank you for your feedback Flynn, the recent heavy rainfalls in NSW have been very destructive and we are sorry that it impacted your stay. Thank you for your understanding and your support, we hope to see you again soon!
