Very cozy suite in the heart of Shawnigan Lake. Great location, perfect for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. Close to coffee shops, restaurants, general store, and walking trails by the lake.

Comfortable suit

Clean, quite spacious and within 5 min walking distance to the lake. We had a pleasant stay, the outdoor patio space was a great bonus as we had most of our meals outside.

Lovely place to stay

Location was excellent, place was clean and quiet. Beautiful backyard with seating area. We also had a nightly visit from a deer coming to eat apples. All in all was a great vacation.

Clean cozy basement suite. Close to lake and close to Shawnigan Lake school. Private entrance. Host answered all questions quickly. Kitchen had all amenities required.

Nice Suite

I stayed here while doing a weeklong course in the area. Everything was very nice. The suite is charming and comfortable with a nice shower. Bed was very comfortable to sleep in and the location is central to everything. Would recommend!

Charming suite in Shawnigan Lake was excellent during our stay, it was close to everything we wanted to visit outside of Victoria BC. It was clean, beautifully decorated and lots of room for 2 people. A nice kitchen to prepare breakfast before our outings. The bed was very comfortable and the extra bedroom had a TV with a sofa. There was a patio with table and chairs which we used daily. The village atmosphere was amazing with good restaurants and coffee shops. One of the best rentals we had ever stayed in.

Beautiful location and great unit!!

Very nice accommodation, quiet location and local people are friendly. The unit is as indicated in the pictures. The host is friendly and replies to questions promptly. I would recommend staying here if in the area. I will definitely rent this unit again in the future!

Overall, the experience was excellent. The facilities were spot on. Enjoyed having the washer and dryer right in our suite. Only complaint was that the road is being repaired so parking was at a premium. Would suggest our host think about fixing up his walkway from the down the driveway. It's a little precarious

Very charming decor especially for a suite in the basement of an older home. Everything there that would be needed for a longer stay. Cleanliness of kitchen and bathroom not up to par and was an issue for me. Especially kitchen sink, need to investigate smell that comes from drain when water is turned on.
