Beautiful property and great location

The property and owners were great. It is a better location for wine tasting than Blenheim. It is also right next to the Wairu River with an easy path to get to the river.

Excellent central and peaceful location in renwick - very handy to river trail and swimming holes plus vineyards and the vintner village. Welcoming and accommodating hosts whose local tips were much appreciated

Very comfortable loft equiped with all the necessary amenities (and more).

Very comfortable loft equiped with all the necessary amenities (and more). The two king size beds are very comfortable. Kitchen was nicely stocked with fresh coffee, fruit and breakfast items as bacon and eggs. Location is perfect. Nice and quiet next to the river for a good night rest and right on the "Golden Mile" for visiting winehouses.

Perfect location, right in the heart of the famous Marlborough wineries (the Sauvignon Blanc capital of the world!). The estate itself is a functioning fruit orchard and we were able to purchase delicious fresh fruit straight off the trees. Convenient access to the wineries, to the Queen Charlotte Sound, etc. The property is also adjacent to the Wairau River and you can go for walks in either direction on a ridge that runs alongside the river.

Andrew and Wendy are seasoned travellers from NZ and Australia respectively. They arrived in Marlborough in 2015 and love welcoming visitors to their new-found home among the vineyards.

Ryland Estate is situated in a picturesque, established-garden setting, looking out over adjacent vineyards with the Richmond Ranges forming a backdrop to its gardens. It sits in the heart of Marlborough wine country with numerous wineries and restaurants nearby, and on the edge of the Wairau River with its walking and cycling trails.
