The accommodation had not been cleaned. Beds and bathrooms had dirty linen and the house was generally unfit for us to stay in. We tried to contact the host but he was overseas and not responding to our many attempts to contact him. We tried to contact the local cleaners but the only numbers we had for them were land-lines and as we were international travellers, we were unable to contact them. As it got later in the day we were getting desperate and had to find alternate accommodation. When we finally had contact from our host he was apologetic and agreed to refund us in full. Unfortunately this has not happened. We are out of pocket and still owed money from the host.
