The house is beautiful. Great views out to the Kaipara Harbour through the beautiful trees and gardens. This place is obviously a labour of love for Pat and Julie.Tinopai is lively. The locals that we met are amazing and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing I was unhappy with was that we could only stay for 3 nights... I would stay for a month if I could.Thanks Pat and Julie. We definitely hope to come back.The Rowe Family (Roger, Gina, Olivia and Emily)

We had a great stay, the bach has amazing views, lovely grounds and it’s in a great location to enjoy nature and the beach. The host’s instructions are very clear and easy to follow and we had everything we needed for our weekend and more.

The back in Tinopai had an amazing view over the Kaipara Harbour. It’s a simple and basic place to stay, but that’s all the more charm. Good fishing with an all tide ramp nearby.

My daughter and I enjoyed our break away weekend here. The house has everything you need and is spacious and comfortable. Excellent location and lovely views. VRBO website's lockbox code had not been updated and I'd not noticed the difference in number sent by the owner. It took half an hour to reach the owner to get the correct code so we were a bit worried for a while there. But once settled in, it was very relaxing.

Great location, nice views of the harbour, surrounded by bush, private and easy to find. We stayed in winter for a family event. Would love to come back in Summer to teally enjoy the Bach in all its glory

Amazing property!

Everything you need !

We spent just one night here, but it was enough to feel at home. The terrace is wonderful, and we were really happy to discover the region. Everything was clearly explained, and communication with the owners very good.

We are a retired couple. Over 20 years ago we built our bach. The land was covered with young gum trees about 6 ft high. We never knew if we would see the water or not after they were felled, but we did! We have a lovely view. It was a long process of building, just on weekends, we'd bring the materials up on a trailer and work doggedly, staying in the little caravan you see out the back. We so much enjoy sharing the fruit of our labours.

Pat always wanted to build a bach. We tried to find section on the east coast but the cost was astronomical. We could afford this land, and we are glad we chose the west coast.
