Welcome to the Midwest - Family Friendly with Yard

Family friendly house located in a quiet residential neighborhood accommodated with laundry, kitchen necessities, small back deck, propane grill, fenced back yard, children's toys and books, wifi and television with access to streaming services and dvds. Note the garage is not available for car storage.

Located 2 miles (6 min) from Faurot Field and Mizzou Arena. 3 miles (10 min) from "The District" or downtown Columbia. Walkable or a short drive to grocery, shopping and restaurants nearby. 3 minute walk to Rock Bridge Children's Park.

Quiet ranch

Didn't stay there long but clean quiet place to stay. We have stayed here in the past as well. Will come back in the future as well

Sufficient

Sheets and towels were clean. Comforters and bedspreads were not clean. Plenty of room for family of 8. Cobwebs and sticky floors made stay uncomfortable. Broken mirror propped in closet not safe. We were in town for wedding festivities, and the house provided a place to dress and sleep. Unable to hook up to wifi...no directions. If the house was clean it would have been great,

Stereotype

The property was great , it was in a great location. I thought that we were stereotyped once we were seen on the camera of the property. we are in our 50s and 60s we have no time for loud parties. Overall the experience was great.

Good, Two-Family-Friendly (if not the cleanest) Home

The space worked well for our two families with 6 young kids (who loved the toys and books). We basically just used the home as a place to sleep and eat breakfast while we visited local family, and it fit our needs. The living/dining room would have felt a bit cramped if we’d all been trying to eat or sit together, but it was as pictured in the listing so no surprises. Only issue was the cleanliness: a thorough dusting was needed and pots and dishes in the cabinets had food on them still, among other things.

Adequate accommodations

Nice to have 2 levels for older kids to stay downstairs and adults upstairs. There was no WIFI so that was a bit of a bummer. The host tried to resolve it but it was not remedied during our stay.

Family friendly in quiet neighborhood

Self check in was easy with very easy to understand instructions. Host was very responsive to messages. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and even had some spices and coffee/oatmeal was available. Back deck and yard were a plus. Lots of games to play! House could definitely have been cleaner but it wasn’t that much of an issue.

Lots of room

The house was great! Lots of room to spread out. We had 2 families with children and there was lots of room. We had one issue with the dishwasher and Caitlin came over to fix it right away.

Great location close to mizzou campus!

We stayed at this property for a football weekend and the location couldn’t be beat! Easy to get to campus, restaurants and grocery close by and lots of sleeping space. Really enjoyed our stay!

Nice little raised ranch

Family Wedding Headquarters

the house had enough rooms / beds to accommodate our family ... location was excellent to proximity of wedding, basement was great for teenage siblings, Kitchen was well supplied. However, yard was not mowed , cobwebs in house , spiders , main bathtub not completely cleaned upon arrival , and living room lacked comfortable seating.

It Serves It's Purpose

All in all it served the purpose without any troubles. The water pressure for the showers was low and the toilets are small and the tv's are small. Basement has only one way out which is where half the sleeping quarters are. They do have board games and cards and puzzles, nice deck off the master bedroom and nice size back yard.

I live in the country with my husband, 2 small children, 2 dogs, 1 cat and 10 chickens. We are a musical family and enjoy to travel which hopefully has given us some insight on what to provide guests with in our rental homes!

This is such a sweet house that is deceivingly large. It is in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood that adds a layer of safety to your stay. If we had lived in town this would have been our live in home! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
