This cottage is very luxurious. Minutes away from the beach. The cottage is situated on one of New Zealands last goldmines.
There are some amazing walks,just minutes away and the wonderful bird life in the area.
You will have your own private access to th
Beach, also your own private parking.
When my husband Craig brought me here seven years ago. It just blew me away. It reminds me of the west coast in ireland. (I'm from ireland). Craig was just returning. We have three children Emma Lucy and Jack. Jack is a true West coaster he was born here.
You will not be disappointed in what you experience. Come and meet the friendly out going West Coasters.

Absolutely stunning setting, the perfect location. The bird life and the waves were all we needed to hear and that’s all we did hear. If you are looking to get away from it all then this is the place.

Beautiful stay

Loved our stay in Charleston! Was the perfect base to head to Punakaiki and Westport for day trips. The beach was right on our doorstep, and the cottage was very cute, had everything we needed. Thank you Val, Nigel and family!

JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED!

The sea, beach, native birds, and a war, well-equipped bach - what more could you ask for. We so needed this. Books to read, games to play (I was the "Scrabble Queen"! Music to play if you wish. Comfy bed, great hosts. Love Charleston!!!

What a wonderful place and right by sea. We will definetly be booking again.

House was lovely, inviting and so cozy and clean. Woodburner was all set to light. Everything was as advert stated. Lovely host Valerie who made contact immediately to organize entry to home and local things to do. We also went to local Charleston tavern for dinner with lovely friendly atmosphere.

Little Gem

Really lovely new cottage with lots of charm, privacy and the setting was fantastic. Great sandy long beach, we think this is probably a West Coast secret. All facilities cooking bathroom etc were great, had everything we needed to feel right at home and more.
