コテージ自体は暖かく快適な雰囲気を提供し、オーバン郷の中心部までは徒歩約6分です。 ビーチ、店、レストラン、バー、訪問者の情報はもちろんですが、

Was great that it included dish soap, some coffee, paper towels, etc. The only disappointment was the low flow of hot water in the shower.

Great, comfortable bach in a perfect location near town. There was only two of us but would comfortably fit a family or a couple of couples. Clean and tidy. Great sized bathroom. Only thing it needed was some outside furniture for the back deck and some books / board games for rainy days. Recommended.

We loved the place, it was very special being able to look out over a mature native forest, watch and hear a magnificent array of native birds. We all loved it and would book again if we had the chance.

We had three great nights in this dear wee cottage. Very handy to everything. Very well appointed- lovely linen. Cosy and comfy. We do suggest a small motor to increase the water pressure in the shower would be of a huge asset to the cottage. Otherwise it was perfect!

We enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage. It had everything we needed. The water pressure in the shower being very low was the only small negative. Be prepared for a climb up the hill to get there.

Cute Cottage

Very clean, neat cottage, quality carrpets, curtains, bed linen and kitchen utensils etc. Easy check in, no contact with owner needed during our stay. Would recommend this property. Lbedding and kit hen utensils.

Fit for purpose

Expectations were met. The cottage proved to be a perfect base for a very active 8 days on the island. Only downside was low water pressure in the shower - that said water was hot and did the job.

Stewart island accom

within walking distance from town ( 6 mins)this cosy , well equipped cottage was the ideal location for our group ( 2 couples) to stay in Oban for a couple of nights . Our Host generously allowed us to drop our bags at the property several hours before check in.

Perfect location!

Everything was exactly as listed. Beds and living room comfy. Did not expect high shower pressure but was sufficient for showers. Ample towels/washcloths. It is important to know you will need to bring shampoo/conditioner if needed. This was not listed as an amenity but we did not realize that until on the island. Also, I neglected to tell the host (my fault) that there were no hot pads for removing things from oven…that would be really nice to have! I would DEFINITELY stay here again for it is a charming place near to town!

Expensive and very basic

This cabin was clean and adequate for our basic needs but felt, for the price we paid for 5 nights, there should have been a few things that would have made our stay more pleasant & memorable.. a dryer should be a given , an e tea set of towels for 5 nights, outdoor chairs on the deck to watch the bird life, etc..

Gorgeous Rakiura !

Absolutely loved the location -nature, bird song. Only issue was lack of water pressure in shower. Please put trash can in bathroom.We would stay there again if we return.

Great place to stay

A lovely place to stay - spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, lovely and quiet with good views of the trees from the balcony and a short walk to the shop, pub, cafe and ferry.

Great little cottage short walk into town had everything we needed nice cosy space. The water pressure was very slow & beds a bit hard but overall a great home base for exploring the island.

A unique cottage stay in the heart of Oban

We absolutely loved staying at Oban Lodge. This little cottage packed a punch with 3 bedrooms, an open planned living space and well equipped kitchen and an amazing back yard! We were close to everything we needed and walked everywhere on the island. The cottage was so clean and tidy. The beds were super comfy too! We would definitely book here again. Close to town

Exactly as advertised. Full kitchen ready for self-catering. Comfortable bed with heating blankets. Few minutes walk down the road to town. Would recommend.
