The Bach was great although we were out most of the time it was great coming back to a sheltered deck with cute fairy lights & a stunning view of whangatautia maunga. Had everything we needed thanks again we’ll be back

Classic kiwi bach on the coast

Affordable and comfortable. This bach and Ahipara was a nice place to relax for a few days.

Beautiful View

Our stay was great, the view is amazing and you can hear the ocean while you’re sleeping which is so relaxing. There is fun stuff to do around town aswell. We hired a quad bike from down the end of the street next to fish and chip shop Looks better then the photos

It was a lovely location and a proper local bach. Unfortunately the advertised hammock was missing parts so couldn’t be used. The bbq had also not been cleaned which was a bit grim. The neighbours were lovely and it was a nice walk to the beach

Great collection of books, comfy Bach, handily located 2 min walk to excellent fish and chip shop and even better cafe.

Gorgeous location

Lovely little spot, close enough to town but far enough away that you have peace. Check in was super smooth and communication was quick and clear. Would 100% stay again. Do be aware you might get woken up by the birds who have made a wee home in the roof 🐦

Unfortunately we stayed at the Love Shack on a cold wet night. The heating was totally inadequate, and one of the heaters provided did not work at all. I was led to believe by the website that there were two bedrooms, but one of the bedrooms was in a separate cabin, with mould on the curtains, a mouse trap in the corner and a huge puddle which you stepped into outside the door. The first step up to the main accommodation and cabin was extremely high and I needed help to get up it. We were booked in for two nights but chose to leave early as all 3 of us were cold, uncomfortable and miserable. Probably a good place for a group of young people in Summer, who are not too worried about home comforts. The accommodation was pet friendly, but I think even our dog was miserable.

Best spot in Ahipara

Old school kiwi Bach, small and basic but everything you need. Beautiful views of the Maunga and the setting sun. This was our second year in a row and we’ll keep going back as long as we can!

A Hidden Gem

We stayed a week for the Snapper Bonanza on 90mile beach and found this little bach in Ahipara which was easy to access the beach, close to the shops perfect size for 2 of us, has pretty much everything you need! Awesome stay Hide your shoes and rubbish from local dogs 😊

Beautiful view

We only stayed for one night. For the price we paid the accommodation was ok.neighborhood is a bit sketchy bu again for the price it was ok. The view were amazing and we did enjoyed having a glass of wine and watching the sunset.

Kicking Back in Ahipara

Really private and quiet location, with beautiful views and very comfortable bed. If you're looking for posh, this is not your place, but if you're looking for ease and comfort and beautiful views, this is your place! And we brought our little dog so that was great! :)

They say it can accommodate 6 people, but the facilities are too insufficient, there is no Wi-Fi, the amenities are not as good as other places, and the price seems expensive compared to the facilities.

Relaxing and away from the hussle and bussle

With no TV or Wifi it meant that there was plenty of time to relax, play games, wander the beach and and take a break from technology. A lovely wee relaxed place with all the basics covered and beautiful beach just a wander away.
