Incredible Wedding House

We stayed here for 3 nights with our wedding being just up the hill at the surf club, it was perfect.

Perfect holiday stay for large family

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Back Beach was a perfect stay for our large family. From the moment you drive in, you feel immediately relaxed. The house was exactly as per the description online (or better). The manager was amazing, responding very quickly. All beds were very comfortable. The bedrooms were spaced out with scattered living areas which was great for allowing space for everyone. The pool, spa and tennis court meant we barely left the property as there was so much to do together. Had a lovely dinner nearby at The Portsea Hotel which had the most amazing views. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be regulars at Back Beach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a group of three families stay at the property over a long weekend. The house was very comfortable, with space and zones for everyone to relax and unwind. The pool and tennis court provided excellent exercise and play opportunities. We had an issue with hot water during our stay, but the contact provided was communicative and responsive. Highly recommend.

Disappointing Stay – Serious Hygiene and Maintenance Issues

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This Back Beach property in Portsea was not fit for purpose and did not match its description. We had no hot water, no power to the second floor, found faeces and pests in the bed, experienced other cleanliness and pest issues, and essential supplies were missing. Our children also found an animal skull in the backyard, which was distressing. Contractors entered during our stay without notice, and management was difficult to deal with. The stay was stressful and well below expectations.
