You choose.

The Statesman is located in the heart of Hamilton's CBD, overlooking the main street of Victoria Street, with cafes, bars, restaurants and shopping all within a few steps downstairs. Guest entry to building through Victoria Street door requires key.

One carpark in building. Getting around town - E-Scooter, Uber, Taxi.
• No parties in the apartment
• Lost keys incur a fine of $30
• Visitors are allowed as long as they do not stay the night.

Comfortable Stay

The apartment is comfortable and was very convenient to eateries being on the main street of Hamilton, the downside was that it is noisy at night. My suggestion is that if you want to be in the middle of town, this is a good option but if you want peace and quiet, you should look for somewhere off the main st. The TV is nearly dead and desperately needs replacing.

The property is located in a great spot and the unit itself is quite nice. However, the cleanliness of the unit was lacking (we had to clean the sheets before we could use the bed, some surfaces were unclean, weird smell from under the kitchen sink), the TV was yellowed from sun exposure, some of the blinds didn't work or were non existent, and parking is awful if you have a car larger than a small hatchback or sedan. Communication with the managers was also somewhat frustrating, as we requested several times the check-in instructions as we knew we wouldn't have access to communication for hours, and only received instructions 15 minutes before check-in time. The location is great and close to lots of food options and a short drive from groceries. Keep in mind that it's on a main strip, so construction noise in the morning and partying locals in the late evening are easily heard.
