The property was comfortable and reasonably matched the listing online, however from check-in there were glaring problems that required effort from us to fix that felt above what we should have to invest for the price we paid regardless of the time of year. As described below, this place was not adequately cleaned before our arrival. Further, there seem to be foundational safety issues with the property. Here is a list of issues compiled over the two week duration of our stay. - Stained sheets and towels- Inadequate linens for advertised guest capacity of four persons (3 bath towels, 1 bathroom hand towel, no wash clothes, one kitchen towel, no spare sheets) - Dirty floors (loose hair, food crumbs)- Kitchen amenities in contrast to listing (1 butter knife, 3 drinking glasses, no steak knives, etc.)- Dead bug found in sheets upon arrival. - Dirty shower curtain- Fridge filter needing replacement- Water damage in bathroom- Offensive odor in staircase and throughout basement suite upon arrival that persisted through stay. - Flooring caving in in kitchen- Beds smaller than advertised- Air conditioning does not cool unless upstairs unit also running- Fire extinguisher has not been inspected in two years- No way to lock interior suite door when leaving, allowing upstairs guests/owners access without due legal expectation of privacy. As said, once cleaned, the property was comfortable enough but overpriced and I could not recommend someone staying here presently.
