Escape to this wonderful Mayan Palace 1 bedroom suite at the Vidanta resort on the Mayan Riviera beachfront. It is only 30 minutes south of the Cancun Airport. The cozy bedroom features a comfortable king bed, perfect for a good night’s sleep. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like free WiFi, 2 TV’s, kitchen, living room and full bathroom. The living room offers an additional space with two sofa beds with trundles for extra guests. Up to 4 adults and 2 children (12 years old and younger) can stay in the suite. Daily housekeeping. An 18 hole par 3 golf course designed by Jack Nicholas is on the property. It is very challenging and fun to play for an extra cost. A lot of activities are available including beach volleyball, soccer, pool volleyball, aqua gym, arts & crafts, ping pong, spikeball, foam party, bingo, dance lessons, pool games, cornhole, music trivia, movie trivia, blackjack, Texas hold’em poker, fitness training, the Vidanta Run, Spanish lessons, nature at Riviera Maya, botanical tour, tennis and pickleball. There are several excellent restaurants and bars at this large upscale property. Food, beverages, golf, tennis and pickleball are not included in the rental cost of this one bedroom suite. Grocery store with fresh food, snacks and beverages (including alcohol) on the property. The nearest Walmart is 18 km away in Playa Del Carmen. The Mayan Palace pool is massive and really amazing. This beautiful swimming pool has two swim up bars and many palm trees surrounding it. Servers will take care of all of your food and beverage orders while you enjoy lounging around the pool. Happy hour 2 for 1 drinks 12-2pm daily and there is a daily drink special 2 for 1 all day long. The large sandy beach on the Gulf of Mexico is gorgeous with lots of lounge chairs and a volleyball court. You will enjoy swimming in the pool and the Gulf of Mexico. You may also enjoy longs walks or jogs along the many paths through the tropical forested property with amazing wildlife. Restaurants include Mexican. Mediterranean, Italian, Asian, International, Creperie, Coffee, Ice cream and Bakery, Pizza to go, craft beer restaurant and room service. Brunch at Del Lago is fabulous. Nightly entertainment is available at various locations. Joya Cirque du Soleil show is available as a show or with a variety of dinner options at an extra cost. Aqua Jungula water park is onsite at an extra cost. It features a large kids area, wave pool, lazy river and several waterslides, swim up bar and a nice restaurant plus other food stands. Free transportation shuttles throughout the resort. USD$1200 credit card authorization will be done at check in. Standard Mexican ISH and DER room tax will be charged at check out at the lobby desk (it was about USD$11 per day when I was at the resort recently). At check in, you may be asked to attend a 4 hour timeshare sales presentation which includes a free buffet breakfast. The presentation is completely optional. They will tell you what discounts they will offer you for attending the presentation so you can determine whether it is worthwhile for you. We are happy to assist with any questions.
