The Cabernet Franc House is the perfect home to enjoy with your family & friends for a Temecula getaway! Located in the heart of highly desirable wine country, you'll enjoy a ranch style home which includes a 15-foot Satin Granite island, stainless-steel appliances and pristine hardwood floors! The front of the home is lined with vines of Cabernet Franc great for pictures and the backyard opens to a sizable rock pool with a waterfall/grotto and ample room for endless outdoor games and relaxing!

More about the Space:
The entire private 2 acre estate is all yours! The Cabernet Franc House is suitable for up to 10 guests looking to relax by the pool or enjoy the surrounding wineries! It is perfect for a family reunion or wedding weekend!

*Important: If you would like the pool heated to a desired temperature, please let me know at a minimum 24 hours before check in. It is heated by propane and costs an additional $150/day to heat April-September and $250/day October-March*

Here's a few common questions to help you decide if the Cabernet Franc House is a good fit for your getaway:

Are wineries really walking distance?

Yes! The Cabernet Franc House is walking distance to Leoness Winery, Danza De Sol, Oak Mountain Winery and Robert Renzoni! You can do your own tour by foot!

Can we cook at the house? What about BBQ?

Absolutely! The kitchen is fully equipped with plates, bowls, utensils, wine glasses, cups, pots and pans. We would love for you to enjoy the commercial appliances if you're looking for a home cooked meal in! The refrigerator is equipped with filtered water and has an ice maker. We just purchased a brand new BBQ for you to enjoy as well!

We also provide a single cup keurig, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave and blender.

Do you have a hot tub?

We do not, but the beautiful waterfall grotto in our pool along with the option to heat the pool to your desired temperature (for additional cost) more then satisfies our guests!

Is it suitable for children?

We've had several families stay with us. Being a 2 acre estate, there is more then enough room for children to run around and with beach style entry, your children will spend hours in our resort style pool! Having 3 small children ourselves, we have decided to have the pool fenced in on August 14th to make our home even more family friendly!

Are there any games or other activities at the house besides using the pool?

You bet! We have a fully equipped gameroom which includes a pool table, poker table, and a huge assortment of board games! Even better, its on the other side of the house away from the bedrooms if part of your group would rather rest early! Outside includes a BBQ and new cornhole set!

What about outside? Is there ample seating?

We have 2 sets of tables with 4 chairs at each. We also have 4 Adirondack chairs you can easily move to the area you'd like to enjoy as well as 2 lounger gravity chairs. And for those who like to lounge in the pool, we have lounger rafts to enjoy! Plenty of comfortable seating for everyone!

What about the TV/movie situation?

We have Roku devices attached to all of our TVs allowing you to access Netflix, YouTube, whatever networks you subscribe to!

Beautiful area and excellent property

Awesome home with private pool!

We really enjoyed ourselves at this property! Lisa was very easy to communicate with, thank you! The home is right by 2 popular wineries (within walking distance) and a short drive to others. One-story house on a big lot with vineyard in front yard. Easy check-in/check out. We will stay here again! Thanks so much!

Can't beat location! Great house for family getaway

We live about an hour away so wanted a weekend getaway to unwind and kick off summer. We had a party to attend nearby so thought staying in a house over a hotel would be nice. It was a great set up for our family! Lots of room to spread out and a nice pool with waterslide and waterfall. The location is perfect if you want to walk to a couple of wineries. Quiet neighborhood as well!

Great spot!

Beautiful house and friendly hosts! We loved our stay and the surrounding wineries are great. Only complaint was that I'm not really sure it's worth it to pay for the pool to be heated since it was still too cold to swim in after the sun went down.

Very Spacious

The house was large and was perfect for our 3 family vacation stay. I love that all of us had our own bathroom and the house was large enough on the interior and exterior to get time alone if needed. Double fridges we’re great and all necessary appliances were there and worked well. And there was plenty of stock of dishes, glasses and utensils. Our walk to one of the wineries was only 5 minutes long. So convenient! Overall it was a great stay.

Dream kitchen island!

We were a party of 8 people. Family and friends. We loved the open concept living/dining/kitchen. We were there to celebrate my nephew’s 21st birthday and cook up a feast. We really appreciated that we could bring our sweet 12-pound dog for a pet fee. It is not easy to find a dog friendly property that is so beautiful and perfect for a large group. Lisa was so gracious about us leaving some electronics behind. We went back and retrieved them! It’s a great property for a group.

Girls Getaway

This house was just perfect for our group of nine women. The great room has plenty of space and comfy seating, and the kitchen island and double refrigerators are amazing for prepping and serving meals for a larger group. Too cold for the pool when we visited, but we really enjoyed the outdoor spaces, particularly sitting around the fire pit (BYO firewood!) With adults-only guests (from the standpoint of sleeping arrangements), would say the house is best suited for eight, but we made nine work. That we were able to walk to wineries was another big bonus--we especially enjoyed Leoness. Property owner is friendly and communicative--an overall lovely experience!

Amazing property with everything you need!

We stayed here for a bachelorette party weekend with 9 ladies. We all fit comfortably and everything was provided. The house was clean with gorgeous views right outside the front door. The host was very responsive and even provided great recommendations for wineries and in-home massages. Everything was amazing! Thank you.

Great Home!!!

What a beautiful home! We stayed this past weekend with a large group of women and all loved the space of the home. Everybody was very comfortable. The kitchen is amazing! The backyard is set up perfectly to spend some time relaxing. Love the waterfall and slide! Lisa was very easy to communicate with, friendly and responsive. Definitely recommend staying here!

A Wedding to remember

We had both sets of parents attending the party with a group of 10 all in the same house and we had plenty of room for everyone. The property owners checked in on this due to some bad weather, and that passed just in time for our dream wedding to give our daughter away. We would love to stay there again and really get to take in all the area attractions. Thank you for hosting our family.

Awesome Awesome Home!

This home is perfect for a family vacation. Right in the middle of vineyards, a spacious home, the pool table was a great! My son is a Marine stationed in San Diego and my daughter is in the Air Force. We wanted a nice home to rent and enjoy some time just to gather, play games, sightsee and just enjoy each other. This home allowed us to do all of that!! We enjoyed just hanging out and playing games and visited a few winer for taste testing! They were awesome!! The weather was too cool and rainy to enjoy the pool but it looked beautiful! We will definitely stay here again!!

Bachelorette weekend

We had the best experience from the moment we booked the house until the day we checked out. Lisa, The owner, was always easy to reach by text message if we had a question or concern. The property is beautiful and spacious, we had a group of 11 girls and we all fun.

Amazing house for a girls’ weekend!

We recently stayed here for an annual girls’ trip to Temecula. The house was amazing, and everything is exactly as pictured! The kitchen has the biggest island any of us had ever seen and it is so perfect for gathering and hanging out. The property is beautiful, and the backyard is perfect for relaxing. There’s tons of seating and pool is gorgeous. The location is fantastic, we walked to Leoness and Oak Mountain Wineries, both are a very short walk from the house and would highly recommend them. The views from both are stunning. We will be back next year!

Fun and relaxing

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property and the new owners have made it even nicer than the first time. The pool is great, lots of good places to eat or door dash. Highly recommend going to Peltzer winery with the kids because of the pumpkin patch, carnival games and of course the wine.

Gorgeous Home! Great Owners!

Let me just start by saying that the property owners were fantastic all around! Lisa worked with my family's needs and we kept in communication throughout the entire booking process from start to finish, with any changes or updates. The property is gorgeous! The photos do not do justice to what you encounter when you arrive. The scenery of Temecula creates such a great backdrop for your stay. The kitchen island was the BIGGEST ISLAND I HAVE EVER SEEN! We had fun in the pool as well as lounging in the backyard roasting s'mores by the fire. Thank you to this wonderful couple and we will definitely come back to this property! Great getaway property!

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Our kids love the game room. We played pool and poker every day. Plenty of games and entertainment for the kids. The swimming pool was a great enjoyment as well. Will come back for future booking.

Great weekend.

This is a really nice place nestled in the middle of winery country. We had a fantastic time over the weekend. Very clean. The kitchen was over the top. A large center island, two refrigerators and fully stocked utensils cups coffee creamer etc. I will definitely book this again. One downer, there were cameras all throughout the property. I felt like big brother was watching me. That’s the only disappointment.

My husband and I were married at Wilson Creek Winery years ago and always talked about purchasing a home right in the heart of wine country! We were thrilled when we came across this beautiful property with an unbeatable location! As our second home, we take advantage of the property when it is not being enjoyed by wonderful guests such as yourself :)
