We gathered at "Dock Holiday" for our combined Thanksgiving and Christmas family celebration. We had a very nice experience. Initially we couldn't find the home and had to call Chad for more detailed directions. Once he provided those it was no problem to find. The home is very comfortable, clean and spacious. The cozy couch with blankets and fireplace was perfect for the cooler weather we had. We appreciated having a basement bedroom/bath for our family with younger children. The options for pool, xbox, ping pong were great given the cold weather. Beds are very comfortable. I was glad to have read a previous review which mentioned that the kitchen is stocked with "basics" - as we needed a few more items for our larger meals. We found the dining table to be small given the number of people who can stay - a few more chairs would've helped or a bigger table. The Dollar General was well stocked with basic food items (milk, creamer, etc) We would recommend stopping at Leitchfield for groceries. It looks like it will be a very nice development once it gets more established. We loved that it was remote and quiet. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

The house is beautiful! Had plenty of room for 10 adults. Communication with hosts was easy, even with them on vacation themselves and they had a back up we could get ahold of if we needed anything.

This was a great house for our family group — beautifully decorated, spacious, with lots of room to spread out. The ping pong and pool tables got lots of use! Finally, there was amazing star-gazing at night. Highly recommend.

Perfect Lake Vacation...fabulous home!

Had a wonderful stay at this lovely lake home. Was totally equipped for a family. Ping pong table, pool table, plenty of room. Perfectly clean and equipped!!

The house is exactly as advertised. Beautiful home with plenty of room for 7 adults and 3 children. We also enjoyed the basketball and pickleball courts in the evenings. The pool table and ping pong table were also entertaining. Plenty of space to be together in the living room and kitchen, but also areas for individual families to have separate spaces.We visited Lost Cave, Mammoth Cave, Corvette Museum, Ky Down Under, Beech Bend, and Mammoth Valley Park.

Gorgeous House!

My family and I had an amazing time at this gorgeous house! Everyone was happy with their accommodations. The house was super clean and very comfortable! We had a group of 12 and a baby and there was plenty of room. The kitchen was great and the decks made for a great place for morning coffee and relaxing in the evenings! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Still smells brand new!

A cozy home away from home for a vacation with extended family. We are from GA and our family lives in IL so it was the perfect base camp on middle ground for explore Mammoth Cave and Nolin Lake. The aesthetics of this home beckon you to rest, step away from your phone, play games and share meals with loved ones that were prepared in the gourmet kitchen. We used the oven on the convection setting because our food was cooking much slower than we were used to. We would have also appreciated more towels and kitchen supplies since there were so many of us, but other than that we had a delightful stay!

Great time!

Beautiful house. Very clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Ping pong table and pool table provided lots of entertainment so we didn’t even mind it was raining most of our stay. We will definitely stay again!

Beautiful home with great amenities

This home was the perfect place for a family getaway. Spacious and inviting. All of the sites and activities we planned to do while in the area were within an hour drive. Lots of caves/caverns in the area to tour and you have to check out the Kentucky Down Under Zoo. The host, Chad, was great and very responsive. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful Place!!

I came here with my family for a weekend during my grandkids spring break. The house is beautiful! Plenty of room. We played a lot of ping pong & pool!! The owner was very responsive when I had a question. Great place to get away.

Wonderful family spot

Beautiful, brand new home with lots of comforting touches. Home was well-stocked and great for our group of 9. Lots of activities to keep everyone busy. Wonderful to spend a few days relaxing and exploring Mammoth Cave. Two very steep hills at neighborhood entrance can make access difficult.
