Located in the heart of the Mary valley, our ‘country cottage in Imbil’ is favoured with tranquil surroundings and a calm country atmosphere. Ideal to take a break from routine, unwind and recharge. The dwelling is 1.7 km from picturesque Imbil and 10 km from the well-known Borumba Lake where opportunities for boating, fishing, 4WD are endless. This 5 acre property is replenished with diverse vegetation and landscapes.

The septic system only takes toilet paper. Do not flush anything else, including wet wipes.
The gas is turned off. Gas bottle is outside in front of the kitchen window. Turn the valve hand wheel anti-clockwise 2 or 3 turns to open it.
Please do not sleep on the decorative pillows or use throws as blankets. There are plenty bedding available.

This was the perfect getaway location to spend Christmas focusing on what matters and having family fun in comfort. The many large windows of this house meant we could even spot some wildlife (wallabies) and birds from the home. We stayed for a short time, so did not really explore the surrounds, but might like to come back to do so another time.

We had a really great stay at the Country Cottage in Imbil.The place is beautiful and very peaceful, perfect if you want to switch off and relax for a few days. The location in the Mary Valley is stunning, surrounded by nature and very quiet.Everything was excellent. The place was clean, comfortable, and well set up. The bed and linens were great, and we slept really well. The internet connection was also reliable, which was a nice bonus.Overall, everything was well looked after and easy. We would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

The property was lovely, just as it appears on the listing. The hosts have thought of everything from bottled water, milk in the fridge, board games, extra blankets. It was excellent and easy to check in, close to Imbil Main Street, quiet and cosy. Beds were very comfortable

This property had everything we needed. Good communication too. I loved the well kept garden outlook. Also loved seeing kangaroo come into the grounds.
