we messaged the host saying that we would have to arrive late (car issue) and would check in ourselves she said no problem. once we arrived she was incredibly rude at us for arriving late, despite not letting us know this would be an issue, pretty sure she was drunk, she then insisted we weren’t allowed to shower bc we were only staying one night and had a problem with us using the toilet, then stared us down as we entered the back door to clean our teeth. we left the next morning super early, and went to gym to shower instead. would have preferred to have camped in our car as we had the previous night. only saving grace was her husband was incredibly lovely and said we could use the bathroom.

Glad I got the opportunity to rate this place! My booking for here was CANCELLED the afternoon of the day before I was to check in , saying the place had been double booked. I was offered an alternate place 10 minutes out of Hahndorf, which did not suit me at all. I requested a refund for which I am still waiting for. I had to rebook somewhere else which was hard as a lot of places were booked out. I still haven’t received my refund after contacting the host. I plan to take this further as has been one week since cancellation. Very disappointed. Would not recommend!
