Our 110 year old miners cottage is bursting with character. Antiques and rustic treasures decorate every corner of this three bedroom abode.

Adjoining the back deck you will discover our little dog room, made just for the four legged travellers!

Cups of tea on the front deck are a must!

The tan leather couch is the perfect spot to soak in some Netflix and relaxation.


A perfect base to explore Wilson’s Promontory via day trips and we recommend a visit down to beautiful nearby Strezleki ranges, Inverloch, Meeniyan & Loch.


Coal Creek living mining museum is a great visit - free entry!

Had the most magical time, the place is impeccably clean, and the decor? Gorgeous. You can see the distant mountains from the porch! Overall, simply a perfect place to stay at. The cottage was very charming. Full of character and homely. Everything is very comfortable and the setting and views are gorgeous. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend this property. The host is very accommodating and helpful.

Great location with beautiful views from the front rooms. Easy access to korumburra and scenic drives through to the Prom or Inverloch or MirbooIt was cosy inside with plenty of space inside and plenty of well fenced space outside if you have pets or young children. Beautifully decorated throughout.

Couldn’t get to front door, wire door jammed. The key worked on side door, but it was somehow jammed also; gained access at 3rd try - double doors.Sign on double entry glass door “Please remove shoes” - well sorry, no, only had what we were wearing - and rental covers cleaning.The house was nicely renovated and very comfortable.Full of quaint period ornaments.Maybe less could have been spent on ornaments and more on amenities. Eg:Only 6 tea bagsAn inch of coffee in jarMinimal paper towel, no refillNo tea towelsNo facewashersNo tissues

Hello and welcome to our cottage!

My husband Greg and I have hosted over 300 stays in our previous cottage in Korumburra and have decided to do it all again! This time in our 110 year old miners cottage that sleeps 6.

We have three beautiful boys, and a naughty golden retriever. We love to travel and now that we have kids it’s changed to a resort / cruise ship setting but eventually we will be dragging them with us all over the world!

We settled in Korumburra in 2017, and have loved our time here. The people are friendly and welcoming and it’s incredibly safe. The local takeaways are all delicious and the pubs and restaurants can hold their own too - the middle pub was voted Australia’s best chicken parmigiana in 2024, well worth a visit!

We love hosting guests from all over Victoria and wider Australia and it’s very exciting when we have guests coming from overseas.

The rolling green hills, the cows, the fresh and clean country air. Accessibility to the stunning Wilson’s Promontory (with Squeaky Beach recently voted Australia’s most beautiful beach in 2025!) and close proximity to bougie Inverloch but without the price tag!

She is perfectly imperfect. A comfortable and peaceful little cottage, that we have thoughtfully crafted over the last 7 years. We adore this house and know that you will love it too. Every corner of every room in this house has been made with love and carefully considered. The view from the front deck is beautiful. The sounds of the frogs and crickets so peaceful. The cracking pops of the tin roofing heating up in summer, and humming with rain in winter. It’s a very special little home - come and experience it for yourselves.
