Very nice hosts, the place was so clean and had everything we needed, and really easy to get to. We had 3 adults and 2 kids and there was tons of space for everyone. The beds were so comfortable, coffee and sugar was provided, and even netflix for the guests. We will definitely stay again if we come back to Nanaimo!

Très bel accueil et plein de commodité dans ce super appartement. Nous ne manquerons pas d’y retoruner lors de notre voyage sur l’ile. Un gros merci à notre hôte Delong et sa famille qui ont été très accomodants.

We used this as a base to explore parts of Vancouver Island. It was convenient to the ferry and within day trip distance of Pacific Rim NP and Victoria. It was clean and quiet with a lovely view from outside. The only drawback is that the host family lives in the upstairs unit and their young children can be heard. We don’t mind the sound of children but some may.

Such a beautiful home, in the most beautiful location I’ve ever stayed in! Worth it for the neighborhood alone. There are deer and rabbits everywhere. The view is incredible and there are so many stunning beaches, parks and trails within 5 minutes. The owners/hosts were very kind! I highly recommend to stay here if it’s available. I am dreaming of coming back next year!

This unit is a part of a house. It’s spacious and clean. Has all kinds of utensils and even seasonings. The host is friendly and kindly give the locations for picking seafood.

Clean and new with a beautiful view

The location was great, and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that was a little confusing was finding the entrance door.

Great neighbourhood!

This place was simply perfect for our family of 6. It was 12 minutes from the ferry in Nanaimo, it had a BBQ, a backyard for the kids to play in, it was near a ton of great parks, and the views were spectacular. The only complaint I really have it sometimes you could hear the owners above, they had a small child and you could hear the stomping and crying. Property owner was incredibly nice but only one of them spoke English! Otherwise it was truly an incredible experience and I would come back here again. Great place!

Hope’s happy suite

The house has a beautiful view, the suite itself is easy to access with your own entry. Can come and go without bothering anyone. Kitchen has pans and dishes for use. The beds were amazing, also has dishwasher and laundry. Owners answered questions quickly and were very accommodating.

Hospitable hosts

Very nice basement suite in a beautiful neighborhood, perfect for ocean view walks. Our hosts were extremely responsive and hospitable, and left us all of the basic necessities like coffee and fresh cream, soaps and detergents. The suite is a good size and beds were extremely comfortable. There was zero comparison in terms of the value of what we paid for this amazing stay. My one caution is if you are not used to children’s noises (playing, crying) and are very sensitive to noise, since the family lives upstairs with young ones. We heard sound only occasionally, never overnight, and it didn’t bother us at all (we were also travelling with our toddler). If someone was extremely sensitive to any neighbouring noise just be aware of this.
