Coastal Charm with Ocean Views – The Studio

Tucked behind a charming 1928 duck egg blue bungalow, The Pt Mac Beach House Studio offers a cozy and affordable seaside retreat in the heart of Port MacDonnell. The main house is also available for rent in a separate listing, but The Studio provides a private space with a rustic beachside vibe.

The Space:
A comfortable queen-size bed in the bedroom.
A double fold-out couch in the living area for extra guests.
Smart TV, WiFi, and optional workspace setup upon request.
Cheapest ocean views in town! Look down the driveway to the foreshore and watch the cray fishing fleet in the harbour.

The compact kitchenette includes:
A portable induction cooktop, microwave, and basic cooking essentials
A small Weber BBQ with a sink and running water in the outdoor patio area
The bathroom and separate toilet are just off the patio, newly renovated to complement the property’s relaxed beach hut style. The shower is over a small bathtub with a shower curtain.

Guest Access & Parking:
A lockbox on the side fence provides self-check-in.
Shared driveway with designated parking directly in front of The Studio.
No private yard, but a beautiful park across the road for walks and picnics.

Pet-Friendly Stay? Let’s Chat!
While the Pt Mac Beach House (main house) is better suited for furry guests with its secure yard, we’re open to discussing options for pets. There is no yard but there is a park across the road for toilet walks. Dougal, my friendly Westie, and I lived here for a year and enjoyed meeting fellow pet lovers while out on our very regular walks!

Very quaint & well exceeded expectations.Absolutely magnificent stay, our little dogs were welcome, Beach House was immaculate. Inside very well facilitated, wanted for nothing. Great location and clean property. Some accessible electrical sockets in the living area to utilise the table for computer work would be good or maybe an extension cord. Could do with higher wattage light globes also. Overall a great place to stay and we enjoyed our short time there.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

I live on the 'Shipwreck Coast' at Port MacDonnell because I love the rugged beauty of our coastline and consider it as good as if not better than the Great Ocean Road.
After growing up on Kangaroo Island, I spent 20 years living and working in Alice Springs before moving back to the ocean here at 'The Bay' ... What a relief!

The Studio is private and comfortable, it is decorated with my creative flair and offers a really affordable seaside stay. you can see the crayfish fleet from the bedroom and walk only a few steps to the jetty and local cafes.
