The Beach Break at Bahama House

The sand is 50 steps away from the door to this wonderful hideaway. The condo is within easy walking distance to downtown.
Located about 500 ft from Atlantic Ave, you are close enough to an array of restaurants and bars, shopping and all that downtown has to offer but you are far enough away to enjoy our private and quaint old Florida style complex.
This apartment has an updated kitchen, with a microwave and a fridge, and one bathroom with a shower a queen size bed, a smart TV with basic cable and high speed internet. We also offer one free on site parking.
It comes with the two beach chairs. When available, a discounted pass from the Oceanside Beach Chair service across the street can be purchased.

The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. We liked being so close to the beach and restaurants. The kitchen and bathroom both had nice items and host left water, wine, crackers and cookies for us! We had a great stay.

Lovely place to stay near the beach!

The Bahama House was well provisioned and well kept. It was conveniently located within steps of the beach. I would recommend the Bahama House to a friend.

Perfect in every way!

Fantastic stay! This one-bedroom rental was perfect—amazing location, well-appointed with great amenities, and the host’s communication was top-notch. Everything was exactly as described (or better!), making our stay seamless and comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

PERFECT LOCATION

This place is so quaint and in the perfect location. We did not have to get in our car all weekend because anything that we needed was in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again. It was a hidden gem.

Location, Location, Location

The location was outstanding… Directly across the street from the ocean beach and a stone’s throw from three reasonably good restaurants and the Atlantic Avenue restaurant scene. The apartment was charming and while just right for two people, it was well equipped. Laura was a fabulous host, responsive and accommodating. We will definitely go back!

Great place. Great location

Right across from the beach. Best area in delray. Nicer than I expected. Beautiful lush yard and Vera was always a phone call away to respond to any questions or concerns. Highly recommended!

Beach Vacay

This was a wonderful place to stay for a beach getaway. Steps away from the beach, with access to two chairs and an umbrella. There is a tiki bar right next store, and the property is within walking distance from downtown. Vera is wonderful to communicate with and extremely responsive. Great trip.

Perfect Gem

Absolutely fantastic place. Perfect location, literally across from the beach, dedicated parking spot so no issues coming and going, easy walk to SO many delicious restaurants. The place itself is quiet and cozy, even with so much activity all around. Beach chair pass was great! Truly loved it!

Excellent Delray Beach Location

The property is an older one bedroom ‘beach bungalow’. It was a bit small and the bedroom does not fit a dresser for clothes, but it worked out fine. The owners went out of their way to ensure small details were included which really goes a long way to feeling like home away from home! Incredible location makes up for any shortcomings!

I love staying here

My 2nd time staying at Bahama House Unit #5 and I love it. Its right across from the beach and the whole place has a zen feel. When you arrive there is a fountain with Koi and frogs. There are chairs right outside the unit to enjoy and have a glass of wine. I love the stone floors and shower. Its a great place and look forward to returning again.

Quiet, convenient hideaway

Delray, even in these CoVid times was terrific. This property in smack dab on A1A, across the street from a beach access point. The location couldn't be better. Check-in was a breeze. Vera reached out to check on us en route, after we arrived and the morning of our departure. A minor glitch with the WiFi was resolved quickly. The kitchen is tight quarters, but well appointed. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the shower is class A. Right next door to an outdoor bar, we were slightly concerned about noise. Never heard a sound once we got to bed. We were very happy with the area, the property AND the entire experience!

Above and Beyond

This VRBO did not disappoint!! Our host, Laura, really went above and beyond to make our week's stay perfect. She provided drinks and snacks upon arrival to stave off the grocery visit for a bit, and was very responsive to any questions/requests.The place is exactly as described and a perfect location for a couple's getaway. You can walk a block to Atlantic Ave where most stores and restaurants live. Really, you would not need a car if you Uber or use their free golf cart transit-Freebie, but there is a free parking spot regardless. The gorgeous beach is directly across Ocean Highway.(not at all difficult to cross as people just stop for you) We also had a "magic card" she provided which got us 2 chairs and an umbrella daily. That alone is a great amenity.Everything was neat and clean and the appliances looked new.You will not be disappointed!

Beach Getaway

This charming condo was perfect for our beach trip for 2x. Everything we needed and the beach rentals was a huge plus. The location is amazing. Right across from the beach and steps to Atlantic Avenue. Comes with a parking spot. Host had a super fast response time to messages. Check in /Check out was easy!

Perfect little bungalow

Highly recommend. The owner was completely responsive. Just excellent. The location couldn’t have been better for us. Right across the street from the water and next door to good restaurants. So close to Atlantic. We took great walks to restaurants and shops. The bungalow itself could not have been nicer. It’s small, but perfect for a couple. Beautifully furnished. Meticulously clean. Very comfy bed. We really just loved it from the moment we arrived. Would not hesitate to book again. Thank you!

Perfect Location!

This was a perfect location for us! Right across the street from the beach (and they provide two chairs and an umbrella each day - major bonus!), walking distance to some nice restaurants and night life or a short freebee ride to others downtown! Our host Vera was very responsive and accommodating to our questions. The apartment is so quiet - a lovely oasis! We can't wait to go back :)

Wonderful place in Delray Beach

Location, location, location!!! Charming and comfortable apartment directly across the street from the beach. Very convenient to walk to restaurants, shops and along the beach walkway. The other residents in the units were extremely friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 week stay here!

Fantastic Stay

Lovely and super clean apartment right across the street from the beach. Our host Vera, was super attentive and responded to messages immediately. Not a single complaint here, we can't wait to rent her apartment again. By far, this has probably been the best experience we've had since we started renting homes for vacations. Thank you Vera!

Great location and super comfortable!

Very clean and comfortable! We loved sitting out on the front porch and having our coffee in the morning and wine in the evenings! Location is right across from the beach and walking distance to all the wonderful restaurants and shopping on Atlantic Avenue! Vera responded right away to any questions we had and was very nice! We would definitely stay here! We loved it!
