"Green" Family-friendly Holiday Home with an outdoor pool and BBQ area
Welcome to Kaštel Stari, at renovated eco-friendly Plum Holiday Home with an outdoor pool and BBQ area surrounded with a scenic olive grove. The house is located at the foothills of Kozjak mountain, remote from the busy urban area, yet steps away from the Adriatic! Isolate yourself in the area with peaceful surroundings and a free large private parking space on the plot of 1000 m2 in the shade of olive trees that offer complete privacy of stay and swimming in the pool. The harmoniously decorated two-floors-166-square-meter holiday house with many beautiful views extends on two floors inter-connected with indoor stairs. It consists of two bedrooms (double room, single room) on the first floor, bathroom and kitchen on the ground-floor, as well as two living rooms on each floor with additional sleeping possibility on click-clack sofas (one sofa is suitable for two persons - please consider that this sofa is in the living room which divedes two rooms).
There is a balcony and a terrace on each floor, from where you can have a breathtaking view on the Kaštela bay and a gentle landscape. The house is perfect for families who prefer to enjoy green outdoor area but still have all that modern life requirs, as there is a beautiful BBQ facility and the sunbathing area.
The host is a local family. The house was built as an osais for relaxation with many authentic details, so we are really excited to share our piece of heaven with you! It is important to know that a home-owner does NOT live at the property but a few km away, so all available property facilities and garden are at disposal to our guests who book or reserve it. This means that the whole propery area won't be shared with anyone else but you!
Before reserving our beautiful Holiday Home, I kindly ask you to consider the following: 1.) The first floor and ground floor are connected with stairs with 13 risers
2.) A ceiling is low at some points on the 1st floor, so some people need to be cautius
3.) We have a big outdoor area with various trees and Mediterranean shrubs, meaning you migh see some insects, ants, bugs, birds and other small animals - if you are allergic, please protect yourself with repellents that are also provided by us;
4.) We put high efforts to make our house as green and sustainable as possible, so please try to recycle as much as you can do.
5.) We have an eco-sewage system: please be eco-friendly and use water sparingly when possible.
6.) Pets are allowed only outdoor and on the balconies. Please respect our rules, otherwise if you can't follow this, unfortunately we will not be able to allow you bringing your dog/cat.
7.) Rooms are on the 1st floor and there is one bathroom.
The Holiday Home is located on a private estate in Kaštel Stari (historic Radun district), in the area full of vineyard and olive trees from one side, and pine-forest from the other side. The property is about 8 km from Split Airport, only 500 meters away from a local train station, from where you can get on train towards Split and Zagreb, and about 2,5 km from the Kaštel Stari center and a pebble stone-beach in Adriatic Sea. The nearby road makes it easier to reach the neighboring towns such as Kaštela, but also UNESCO cities of Split and Trogir, where you can visit the ancient monuments as well as various entertainment activities. Only a few steps away or two minutes by walk, there is the Middle Age Church of St. Juraj of Radun built in 10th century, which is one of only a few completely preserved churches dating from the early Middle Age in Croatia! Next to all places of interest mentioned so far, locaton is ideal for hikers who want to visit to Kozjak mountain, which, thanks to many trails (the first trial is 100 meters away), which is an appealing and agreeable field trip, not only for mountaineers but also for many tourists and locals from the coastal areas.
