Beautiful, modern 3 bedrooms home located in the gated community of Opico Garden in San Juan Opico. The house is perfect for solo travellers, groups or families. Our home offers a fully equipped kitchen with espresso machine for some of that delicious local coffee, spacious rooms, 2 air conditioners and an outdoor cocktail pool for some cooling off after a hot day. The perfect retreat awaits you after a day of exploring El Salvador. The town of Opico is situated perfectly in between the international airport and some of El Salvador's best attractions with some amazing coffee bars and restaurants to be enjoyed by everyone. Also, don't forget to grab some Papusas at local Papuserias located throughout the town. For coffee, please make sure to visit: Where you want coffee or Picado Coffee. The town also has many great restaurants, here is a short list to get started: Restaurante El Asado (With Rooftop patio), The Watcher of Beautiful Horizons Taqueria (Mexican), La Bruschetta (Italian), La Parrilla Opico and Italy Pizza. The property is located near attractions such as: Parque Arqueológico Joya de Cerén, Parque Arqueológico San Andrés, Termos del Río (Watepark), Parque Nacional Cerro Verde (National park), Santa Ana Volcano, Volcan San Marcelino and Lago de Coatepeque (lake)

Me and my wife are from Canada. We love travelling and always stay at privately owned property found through rental sites like VRBO, Airbnb etc.. It provides a much more authentic experience. With that said, we decided to start hosting to help other travelers discover the beauty and mazing country that El Salvador as become over the last 4-5 years.

San Juan Opico is situated half way in between El Salvador's international airport and some of the most amazing areas to explore. It is situated in a agricultural area where 90% of all limes and oranges of El Salvador are grown. It is very easy to find fresh fruits and vegetables for very fair prices at the local markets in town. El Salvadorians are also some of the nicest, helpful and honest people out there. Walking around El Salvador can be done very safely without any fears of criminal activities.

The location of the property is optimal for travelers wanting to visit areas North - North-East of the country. The property is only a few years old, in great conditions with all the necessary amenities close by. It is also the only one in the area with a private pool in the backyard
