Disappointing Experience – Misleading Listing and Poor Communication
We booked this property with high expectations, especially since we paid extra for the listing that promised amenities like a hot tub and heated pool. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what was advertised.When we arrived, there was no hot tub at the property, despite it being listed in the description and the reason we paid a higher rate. When we called to complain, the management was unaware the hot tub was missing, and they refused to offer any compensation or even an apology. Additionally, the pool was listed as "heated," but it was ice cold, and even after complaining, it was still not warm enough for our kids to enjoy. We called multiple times for this and never received a call back. The issues didn’t stop there. Items shown in the listing photos, which we confirmed would be available before our arrival, were missing. The grill was unusable, filthy, and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. The upstairs bathtub was clogged, and the jacuzzi tub downstairs had non-working jets. The oven took twice as long as expected to preheat and cook food properly.When we reached out to customer service to resolve these issues, the communication was frustrating. We were promised callbacks that never came, and no one took responsibility for the problems.While we appreciated the location of the property, the lack of accountability, poor communication, and blatant misrepresentation by by the host and management company made this a trip we would prefer to forget.
