The location was exactly what we wanted. Aside from that, our stay was most unsatisfactory. Upon our arrival, we found a note on the stove that said” don’t use oven”. We were not told ahead of time about this. We had just arrived from the grocery store with items to bake for dinner that night. Needless to say, we had to go out for dinner that night. The next day we found the BBQ in the back yard. Charcoal. Just fine. Propane starter. No propane. We called that day to ask about the oven and propane. Sent pics and everything. We heard nothing. The night before our checkout, we got home from our activities and turned on the air conditioner before bed. Minutes later smoke was billowing out of the vents. Smelled like fire. We ran outside in our pajamas to figure out what was burning. We turned off the breaker. That eventually stopped the smoke. None of us really slept well that night because we were all on high alert. This home needs major service before it’s rented again. To our dismay, on checkout morning, we had a stove delivery while we were trying to clean house and checkout. Without any more warning than 30 minutes. It’s sad because the location is perfect.
