Colmar apartment

The apartment location was wonderful, near the historic areas and attractions. Our host Javier was lovely, he also arranged parking in a garage a short 5 minute walk.

The apartment was beautifully appointed and decorated. It was a great space for relaxing after being out and about all day. It is in a great location and very quiet to the outside noise. We were able to cook 2 evenings in the house which had all the accoutrements we needed. We could not have asked for more.The spiral staircase was manageable to the second floor

Perfect Accommodation, location, warm hospitality.

Hosts Javier and Guy, exceptional hosts. The cottage is very clean and warm in Winter. Decor is spectacular. Perfect location. They answer any question and can recommend Restaurants, activities, festivals. 6 stars.

Beautiful apartment in historic Colmar

Great location and surprisingly spacious apartment in Colmar. Javier went above and beyond to provide us with referrals to restaurants and bike rentals. The apartment is well decorated and very comfortable. We had a great stay.

Wonderful!

Absolutely loved staying here. The property is full of character and has amazing decor. Location is very convenient for exploring the old town of Colmar. Major bonus having the use of the host’s underground garage around a 10 minute walk away. The property host, Javier, was very helpful and attentive which was greatly appreciated.

Excellent situation

Lovely quirky apartment, well appointed & in excellent situation for central Colmar. Delightful host always available for advice or recommendations. Ideal to tour surrounding villages, (well worth paying for host's nearby garage parking). Would rent again.

Beautiful house in a very central location. Javier was an excellent host, suggesting things to see.

The property is a beautiful 3 story house with a small courtyard terrace. It is tastefully decorated and was well equipped with everything we needed. It's located in the lovely old centre of Colmar and close to many bakeries and a monoprix supermarket for those wanting to self cater. We had a hire car so it was very useful to have the private garage a short walk away. Javier is an excellent host and took time to suggest a range of things to see and do, both in Colmar and in her surrounding area. We would love to return someday soon.

fantastic location with an excellent host!!!!

The apartment was fantastic. It has everything you would need. If you are looking for a location with access to Old Town Colmar It doesn't get any better than this. Just step out your door and your there. All said, though, what made our 4 day stay was the host Javier. What a great guy!!! He was a wealth of local knowledge. We went above and beyond, even taking the time to make us reservations at 2 fantastic restaurants. Would definitely recommend!!!!

Unbelievably clean and beautiful...a MAGICAL vacation rental!!!

I truly recommend this LOVELY Apartment in the center of Colmar. The location could not be better to tour this beautiful city in France. The Apartment is ABOVE AND BEYOND CLEAN!!! Beautiful view of the city center, the bedroom has a incredibly comfortable bed with immaculately clean white sheets. Honestly unbelievable for a rental property!! The living area, and kitchen are also comfortable and VERY CLEAN. The host, Javier, was available and his courtesy made the stay even more pleasant. Checking in and out was easy and pleasant. I am not a person that writes many reviews, but this Apartment deserves my extremely positive comments!!!

True Colmar Experience

This apartment is perfectly situated in the Colmar Old Town so that it is still accessible but truly walkable to everything. Our Host Javier arranged garage parking and assisted with making dinner reservations, which proved to be important. As for the Apartment it was even better than the photos. The place was very clean and had an amazing vibe making it a truly authentic and unique experience. I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a romantic time in Colmar! Enjoy.

Absolutely perfect place for visiting Colmar!

I can't say enough great things about this apartment. It is beautiful, comfortable, and in a perfect location. Shops are just steps away and Petite Venice is a very short walk. Javier was a perfect host. He kept in constant contact to ensure we were met on arrival, and assisted with parking our car in a private garage. He also provided many restaurant recommendations as well as information for the Tour De France which ran through Colmar during our visit. Colmar is a beautiful town and the experience with our rental made the visit extra special. Thank you Javier for making our vacation so very memorable!!!

Best of all!

The location was A-1, in the heart of old town Colmar. Far enough from the tourist ruckus, but only a five minute walk if so desired. The accommodations were spotless and tastefully decorated. All the modern conveniences one could want. Our host was on top of everything. We never had to ask for a thing. 15 minute walk to train station, or €1.50 by frequent bus. Taxi service is minimal. Colmar is a great place to visit. Unexpecradly we were there on a German holiday weekend, so the place was hopping. We will be back to these accomodations if we are in the area.

Javier was a perfect host. Despite our late arrival he made arrangements to ensure we were comfortable even reserving a place at a local restaurant on Christmas holiday season at last minute. Nothing was too much trouble and it immediately made us feel relaxed. The apartment was perfectly appointed, warm, comfortable and tastefully decorated with the owners unique charm. The location was so convenient for exploring the town, it was charming, cosy and full of character. Had the best nights sleep in the super comfy bed. Loved it. The best home base for your visit to the Alsace region

This apartment simply leaves me lost for words, given its charming elegance, supreme comfort, and ideal placement. A multitude of stores and markets are merely a stone's throw away, and the quaint Petite Venice is within a brisk walk's reach. Javier was an impeccable host, maintaining regular communication to ensure a smooth welcome upon our arrival. Our delightful rental significantly enriched our experience in Colmar, a town renowned for its captivating beauty. The train station is conveniently a brief 15-minute stroll away, hosting regular trains to Strasbourg and Basel, thus providing a hassle-free gateway to these cities and beyond. Several choices are available for exploring the neighboring towns, including flexible hop-on-hop-off buses, cycling tours, and both car and bicycle rentals. My heartfelt gratitude to Javier for making our vacation truly unforgettable!

Beautiful apartment right on the entrance to the old town

Beautiful first floor apartment with a view to the internal courtyard and external road. Absolutely everything is within walking distance from the apartment. Apartment had enough kitchenware if you want to cook but with an internal spiral staircase to the bedroom and bathroom, we weren’t able to take our suitcases up to the bedroom. Being such an old property, the windows aren’t double glazed and you do get some noise from the street, but that was expected. No issue at night. Javier was very pleasant to deal with but being asked for a cleaning fee when it wasn’t in the description of the advertisement was a bit cheeky - we thought. Overall, a wonderful place to base yourself to experience the old town. You really feel like a local!

Sehr schöne kleine Wohnung

Sehr saubere und nette Unterkunft, der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war ausgezeichnet. In Colmar kann man alles fußläufig erreichen. Beim be- und entladen der Koffer muss man wegen einem Parkplatz Glück haben oder etwas tricksen. Zusammengefasst: sehr empfehlenswert.

Wunderbare Ferienwohnung am Rande der Fußgängerzone

Wir hatten schöne Tage in Colmar und haben vor allem die liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung sehr genossen. Die Lage ist super, direkt an der Fußgängerzone gelegen. Nur 50m bis zum nächsten Bäcker mit frischen Croissants. Das zusätzliche Angebot, einen Tiefgaragen-Stellplatz zu buchen haben wir als sehr nützlich angesehen. Einen Parkplatz in der Nähe zu finden wäre sehr stressig gewesen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war super, er hat viele Tipps und Informationen zusätzlich zur eigentlichen Buchung gegeben und sehr schnell geantwortet. Wir würden die Wohnung auf jeden Fall gerne wieder mieten.

Fantatischer Aufenthalt in Colmar

Die Lage des Appartements ist perfekt und dass man einen verschlossenen Garagenplatz zumieten kann ist super. Das Appartement ist unglaublich liebevoll eingerichtet mit allen notwendigen Geräten ausgestattet. Sauberkeit war top und das Beste: der Vermieter war unglaublich nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Zum Genießen und Wohlfühlen.

stilvoll, warm & gemütlich

Weder die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber, noch das Appartement, noch die Lage des Objektes liessen irgendwelche Wünsche offen! Wir haben 10 wunderbare Tage in Colmar verbracht und uns sehr über die sehr freundliche Kommunikation mit unserem Vermieter gefreut. Das Auto konnten wir nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt in einer zusätzlich gemieteten Garage vom Gastgeber unterbringen -das ist sehr empfehlenswert! Alles im Appartement ist gut durchdacht. Besonders haben wir uns über die liebevolle und stilvolle Einrichtung gefreut und die Möglichkeit sogar draussen vor der Haustür sitzen zu können auf einem schnuckeligen Balkon zum ruhigen Innenhof gerichtet und, dass wir mitten in der Altstadt waren. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.
