Coastal Charm - Meredith Lodging

You’ll be ensconced in a quiet residential neighborhood less than two blocks from the beach but far from the crowds in Coastal Charm, a two-story beauty designed for family fun in Seaside. With its separate loft-level queen suite and adjoining space with a TV, foosball table, and sofa sleeper, it’s a great home to share with another family. The main level has three bedrooms, including a king suite, and a bright and airy great room for gathering. The living room’s vaulted ceiling, large windows, TV, and contemporary furnishings look out to a front deck with outdoor seating. A glass-fronted gas stove brings cheery warmth to both the living room and the dining area. The fully equipped kitchen includes many handy appliances. A barbecue and dining table on the back deck in the fully fenced yard expands your dinner repertoire and includes a new hot tub and fire pit.

It's an easy walk to downtown Seaside, with its arcade, aquarium, bars, restaurants, and shopping, and the promenade lets you stroll above the beach to get there. You can leave the car, enjoy the beach, and explore downtown, or hop onto the highway and discover the many sights and activities of the North Oregon Coast. House was perfect for 2 parents and 4 young adults. Beach access was very convenient. 5 min drive to the main strip of Seaside. Some of the entertainment amenities that were advertised in photos were not available or in working order. Some blinds and light bulbs were not in working order but we made do. For families traveling with smaller children, with no blackout curtains, it stays light very late and gets light very early. Relaxing in the spa after hiking all day was a great feature. We enjoyed the wood burning fire pit in the backyard for family bonding.

I'm sorry some of the entertainment items in the photos weren't functioning and that a few blinds and bulbs needed attention. We've scheduled maintenance to repair or replace those items and will update the listing to accurately reflect current amenities. Thanks again for the detailed notes — they help us improve. We only had a few minor things that were wrong but overall we loved house, yard was fenced which was a bonus for the dogs. We all said we would rent again for sure.

Check in was easy. We asked for early check in and this was accommodated with an additional fee. Check in and check out times are a little outside the ordinary. The house has a great location for beach access. It was clean and kitchen had all the needs. No instructions so I would suggest a manual for spa and fireplace use etc. the fireplace wasn’t functioning which was a little disappointing but we were informed ahead of time. A few other minor issues which we were offered later check out no cost for the inconvenience. Otherwise loved the layout and fenced yard for the pups and generalPrivacy. Oh, timely responses which was nice so great Communication.

Yard was overgrown, plants in yard were dead, windows all had broken sills, garage code didn’t work, garage disposal was broken, backyard was terrible, garage can in kitchen was broken, mold in the vents plus too much more! The sewer system across the street was Making us sick during the warmer times. You really need to go through another management company and housekeeping.
