Everything we could need!

We had such a great time at the Pecan Haus. It was the perfect place for our girls retreat, a weekend for us to relax and play board games. Everything was so well stocked, and we were pleased to have everything we could ever have needed for our meals and our stay.

Fantastic Family House

Superb, split level (kids downstairs with own bathrooms for girls/boys). The Master separate from all the kids was nice and the neighborhood great, nice kitchen family room plenty of space for our Family of 9 with room to spare. The 2 porches are great, lots of places to play cards relax

Great place for kids

Very spacious property with a great fire pit in the back. Bluebonnets in the front yard. Lots of places for kids to run around and play in.

Bachelor weekend getaway

The property was an amazing price of land and perfect getaway for our crew. Sheri is an excellent communicator and was able to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property as it’s a great retreat to the country!

Spring Break Mini Vacation

Nice House with a dock.

Very nice weekend stay. I would recommend this house to anyone. Owner was super nice and responsive to email, texts and calls. Wonderful weekend.

GREAT family get-away.

The rooms were larger than normal. Lots of elbow room and room for the kids to run about. Backyard very large. Was perfect for family of 10 water balloon fight. ONLY disappointment was Creek in the back. Very muddy and definitely not for swimming. To be fair it was not advertised as a feature. Owner graciously contacted me day after we left about 2 bags left behind. She then shipped the 2 bags to me. Of course I paid her for the shipping charges. I would highly recommend this property for 10-12 people.

A real home away from home.

I hesitate to recommend this property because I want to keep this gem to myself. If you are looking to getaway with loved ones tall and small...and by getaway, I mean escape from the noise and the long, hot lines of Disney...this is the place. At 40yrs old and mom of an 8yr old, I 'hand on heart' can say that this was my best Spring Break ever. All of the creature comforts of your favorite relatives house...lots of well thought space, balconies, fire pit, hammocks, dock on the waterway...a wonderful and connecting experience.

Family Vacation

We absolutely loved this place and will definitely stay here again. We were concerned about our boat being in the stream leading up to the lake, however it wasn’t an issue at all. The dock is easy to get to and Very accessible. The best part about this place is Sherri the owner. Most VRBO’s can be hard to talk to the owners. Sherri went above and beyond and was wonderful to deal with. We look forward to being regulars here!

LakeHouse Heaven

The pictures of this house truly don’t do the property justice! This house is HUGE! We had 5 adult couples and still had plenty of room! The backyard/deck is also huge and so well kept. Ive stayed at quite a few places and this was the most stocked house I’ve ever stayed at(face masks, welcome basket, qtips, and every imaginable kitchen item needed). There is a boat ramp on the creek right down the street that was easy to get to and the lake is about half a mile down the creek. It was great not being on the busy lake but having such quick access to it. Sherri was so great with communicating and answering questions before and after booking and checked in to make sure we arrived ok! If you’re looking for a place on LBJ quick looking and just book this house. You won’t regret it!

Amazing Retreat Location!

I booked this location for my men's group retreat. I could not have chosen a better place! The house was the perfect fit for the 10 of us. We each had our own bed and there would have been room for more of us. The kitchen, dining and living areas are open concept so we were all able to hang out and mingle and still be together. The dining table is huge! If sat all 10 of us. The patios are also perfect for sitting and talking. The trees in the back yard are amazing! You feel like you are in a tree house when on the balcony. There is a ton of outdoor room for yard games and there is even a fire pit you can use. This owner went far and above what any other VRBO owner has done with respect to stocking this house and preparing it for our use. One of my favorite touches was the basket of "anything you could possibly imagine forgetting" that she had in the restrooms. She even had earplugs for the snorers! They had everything we needed and more. Sheri was a joy to work with and we look forward to coming back next year. I highly recommend this booking!
