Silverthorne Ski Trip

We had a wonderful time at this property! It was very spacious with lots of bedrooms and lots of bathrooms which you don't normally see on VRBO properties. Would definitely recommend coming here in the future with a large party.

Excellent home for large group

We had a wonderful family Christmas at this beautiful home. It was spacious and comfortable for our party of 16 adults. Well appointed with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Ski House!

Fantastic house for large group…the four king beds and six bunk beds allow for a big/dynamic group. Location to mountains are convenient - Breck, Keystone, Vail, and BC are all drivable. House well furnished and easy owner!

Great Week Away

We had an amazing trip with three families. This property gave us plenty of room to spread out and have our own private spaces. The kids had room to do their own thing, but the living room was also large enough to accommodate all of us. Communication was a breeze and we were close to so many activities. We had a great trip!

Just what we needed

Great little place for a ski weekend. Check in was easy, location is great, host was clear and concise, and the kitchen was amazingly well stocked. Hot tub was the cleanest I had been to. I think the bunk room was a little too small for 8 adults but it was better than dirt baggin in our cars and would be perfect for kids. Thanks so much!

Great place for a large group!

Overall the stay was great for our large group! There was enough beds to fit 15 adults comfortably! Unfortunately the fire place wasn't working and they did send someone to take a look at it but it wasnt fixable at the time. Overall it was great for our group and would definitely stay here again!

The Perfect House

This house was perfect for our weekend up at Lake Dillon! My husband and I were having a small ceremony at Lake Dillon and this house was great when hosting our small group of family that came up with us! Everyone had their own space, bathroom, and place to enjoy! Michele is an amazing host and was quick to respond when we needed her and took our feedback and made any necessary changes right away! We loved this house and hope to even come back and visit it one day! Thanks Michele!

Problems but responsive host

We arrived and the place had not been cleaned after the last people. The host was responsive and gave us a refund. The check in process was not sent until the day of the start. The host made it seem like it was Vrbo's fault and sent the instructions directly to us

Family Reunions

This house was perfect for our large family reunion. Having 5 master bedrooms was amazing. There was pleasant of space for all of us to hang out together and also have space to be alone. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. The beds were comfortable. There was lotion in all the bathrooms which is a nice touch in a place as dry as Colorado in the winter. There are some beautiful trails within walking distance. If you’re looking for a great place to have a family reunion this is a fantastic option.

Fantastic Spot!

The house, location and Michele were all top notch. Michele was very quick to respond to any questions/needs we had. The house was spacious, clean & beautiful, the beds were super comfortable and we loved the views. It fit our family of 10 wonderfully. We spent a couple days in Breckenridge, and a couple days in Keystone both were a 15-25 minute drive depending on traffic. Silverthorne had a cute downtown and a couple great restaurants. This place accommodated everything we were looking for. Would definitely recommend! Thank you, Michele! Brett & family :)

Perfect for Multiple Families!

This is second year that we have stayed at Lazy Moose. We have gone up there for the past two years with two other family friends and it is the perfect house for Little and Big Kids! The house has EVERYTHING you need and you really feel relaxed. The hot tub is clean and can hold at least 8 people! We had to have grown-up hot tub time and kids hot tub time! The table seats 14 and we had wonderful meals all together. Lastly, Lazy Moose is perfectly located to Vail and Copper areas in addition to all of the areas near Dillon/Silverthorne. Highly recommend Lazy Moose and the owners are VERY helpful and nice.

Family ski vacation

Great house. Just a couple small glitches ie. Dishwasher leaked, up stairs, left bedroom, shower, stall, drained, slowly. One upstairs outlet was not working. Overall great house though.

Beautiful House is Perfect for a Family Gathering

This is really a beautiful mountain house, which had everything we could need! It was clean and everything was in great shape! Rooms are spacious and beautiful decorated! We appreciated that there were lots of bathrooms, laundry rooms, and a beautiful kitchen that was well-equipped!! We had a small glitch in communication, due to an incorrect email address, but it was obvious this is not customary for this property owner and she did everything she could to help us out, and make up for the inconvenience. It was no problem! The hot tub was awesome! The house is easy to get to,, and the location is excellent, as it is close to so many towns and ski resorts. We had a wonderful time, enjoyed the beautiful house, and definitely look forward to staying here again! :)

Colorado Stay

Our family of ten, ranging in age from four to sixty-five, enjoyed our time in Silverthorne. The home had three levels which perfectly fit our family’s needs. We appreciated the view of the mountains. It also had a great kitchen with two stoves & two dishwashers. We bought groceries at the City Market and cooked of grilled out, most days. This, we appreciated the large dining table to accommodate us all. It was nice that the bath products were provided, too. We were able to use the garage to keep our vehicles out of inclement weather. And, we were able to walk out the door & find a different hike, every day. We also used the free bus shuttle to shop at the outlet stores & to eat out. The owner is very responsive to texts and emails, which was wonderful. We loved our stag in Colorado!

We're a family of 7 from Denver and this is the third vacation rental home we have built in Summit County. After renting homes for many years we realized what we really liked or disliked about vacation rentals and put that all into our designs. We have been renting homes in Silverthorne for around 25 years, and we have thoroughly enjoyed them ourselves, as well as having other people enjoy them. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do!

We found the Silverthorne location to be great since it's centrally located to all the ski resorts, and easy to get to. We are only two miles from the shops and restaurants in Silverthorne, and also I-70. We are also only a block from the shuttle stop.

Our home is designed with many levels, giving our guests room to spread out. We also have a gas grill on the deck as well as a 6 person hot tub that is professionally maintained.
