The unit is very new and clean and pretty well stocked, I requested a couple items and Johnny promptly got them and dropped them off for me. I was there 10 days and it was perfect unit for my stay. You are within walking distance to Walmart, Canadian Tire and restaurants along Macleod trail. Very close to South Centre Mall as well.

Good location for what we needed! The host was super responsive and even dropped off a new mirror for us when we mentioned that the place could use an extra one. We enjoyed our stay and had no issues! Thanks.

Johnny was a wonderful host - prompt to respond to all communications. He allowed us to check in early as we were going to check out early. Everything was comfortable. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. The fridge and freezer were a good size. All the appliances were good including the washer and dryer which we appreciated. Location was great for us. We’d stay here again!

This was our second stay and we like this place for the location and the reasonable price. It is clean, quiet, and has very comfortable beds.Since I cook while I'm there, I appreciate the good selection of pots and pans for the stove top, along with a full-size refrigerator. I just bring what I need such as food storage containers and ovenware.I also appreciate the excellent lighting which is essential for a basement apartment.Our host was quick to respond and was willing to make sure our stay was best experience possible.

This basement suite was in a quiet location. The suite was very clean and well-maintained. Communication with the owner was immediate every time. If you are cooking, excellent pots and pans are provided along with utensils. However, you will need to bring your own oven ware and food storage containers if you need them.I appreciated the labeled light switches. Beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Property was listed as a two bedroom house. Had to enter through to the back and go downstairs to enter as it was a two bedroom in the basement, no yard or porch to sit in. (2 of us where seniors and stairs were hard to manage) the post also claimed there was laundry which was behind a locked door and only for people who where there a long time. It was clean and the owner was quick to respond when we couldn’t access the code for the door.

We are sorry to hear parts of your experience did not meet expectations, and we truly value all guest input as it helps us continue to improve. To clarify, we used the term “suite” in the description as this is common for similar listings. Our intention was never to mislead or suggest it was a main floor. The photos accurately show the space, and the pricing also reflects that distinction. For reassurance, the suite is a walkout basement built to the City of Calgary’s standards and certified as a legal suite. We apologize if the wording caused any confusion. The property includes a large backyard with gravelled areas located right next to the suite’s private entrance, which is open for all guests to enjoy. The laundry area is typically kept locked for short stays to help maintain the space, but as noted in the welcome guide, it can always be made available upon request. I send a check-in message after arrival to make sure everything is going smoothly. That’s always a great time to share any needs, so I can assist right away. The entrance involves a short flight of about seven steps, as it is a walkout basement. While the suite does not advertise accessibility features, I understand stairs can be a challenge for some guests, and I wish I had known so I could have helped. Thank you again for staying with us. As always, the apartment was very clean. Some additions made the use of the kitchen better. Host was welcoming and communication was immediate. Overall, a great place to stay.

The suite was clean and appeared newly renovated. We were only in town for one night for a quick trip but it was a nice clean comfortable place to stay. If we came to town again I would definitely consider rebooking this place!
