Lake Haven guesthouse welcomes you with spectacular lake views. The guesthouse is located just steps away from the lake on our 0.6 acre property. Tucked away in the trees you can enjoy relaxing on our beach, around the firepit or on the dock. The dock, firepit and beach area are shared with the owners. Tie your boat up to our large dock. Jump off the end of the dock into deep clear water. Enjoy amazing sunsets from the dock and the private deck. Plenty of lawnchairs provided. Private gas firepit on deck. Fully equipped kitchen with dishes, small fridge/freezer, 2 burner stove, toaster/airfyer. Full size bbq beside the deck. There is a propane fireplace in the living area and a smart TV. Free WIFI included. The bathroom has a shower with on demand hot water. The bedroom has a queen size bed.
This cottage is insulated, a 5 minute walk to the Youbou Pub, 4 minute walk to the corner store that also sells alcohol, 5 minutes walk towards town takes you to a coffee house, 5 minutes walk up the hill takes you to the Youbou Bowling Alley with live pinsetters, a 10 minute drive takes you to the adorable town of Lake Cowichan where you can access the river for fishing or tubing. Drive 30 minutes to Duncan and you can enjoy several award-winning wineries. There are fabulous mountain bike trails from Lake Cowichan all the way to Duncan. There is a charming rustic-style golf course in Honeymoon Bay, a 20 minute drive to the other side of the lake in Honeymoon Bay called March Meadows

My only regret is that I only stayed one night. This is a beautiful place-both inside and out. Clearly, much love has been poured into every detail. Even the towels were of the finest quality. And just to make the experience even more magical, I was woken up by a giant elk!

We were able to book in for a single night - that’s all our schedule allowed for, but we wished we could have stayed a lot longer! From start to finish we had a great experience. As soon as we got to the property we saw a family of elk grazing on the lawn, parking and entering the cabin was an easy process, the exterior and interior was absolutely beautiful and well kept, we enjoyed the dock in the evening and the morning, and we really didn’t want to leave! I would absolutely stay here again.

We loved this cute and clean cabin within steps of the lake, with a nice dock and access to swimming. We were comfortable and had everything that we needed. The hosts were helpful and friendly, offering kindness in many ways. The cabin highlights the woodworking skills of the host.

We absolutely loved staying here, it was such a perfect place! The cabin was so bright, cute and cozy. It had everything we needed to make our stay so enjoyable (we loved the propane fire pit!). And, of course, the location is amazing. Being right on the lake and having dock to use was so special! Cindy is such wonderful host and so lovely and helpful. I can't wait to stay here again!
