Welcome to our private, legal basement suite near Spruce Meadows! Enjoy a cozy stay with your own entrance, free street parking, fast Wi-Fi, and a clean space to relax. Perfect for solo travelers, couples, or business trips. Located in a peaceful neighborhood just minutes from shops, transit, and major attractions. Your home away from home in Calgary!

The space
Enjoy a cozy and well-equipped one-bedroom basement suite featuring a queen-sized bed, spacious living room with sleeper sofa, a private bathroom, a full kitchen and private laundry room. The kitchen includes all essential appliances and cookware to make your breakfast and other daily meals. The living area is fitted with a brand-new Samsung 50 inches smart T. You’ll have access to private washer and dryer with laundry soap provided. The unit is cool in the summer and heating is available to keep you comfortable during colder months.

Getting around
Township Shopping Centre : 8 minutes drive away. Includes Sobeys, Dollarama, Shoppers Drug Mart, Real Canadian Superstore, Canadian Tire, Sobeys, Safeway, Coops, and various restaurants and cafés.

Guests have exclusive access to the entire basement suite excluding the mechanical room. Entry is self-check in with smart Wi-Fi enabled lock through a private side entrance. If code for self-check in does not work, please ring the bell of the main floor for back up key. Unit number is 83B but put 83 Bridlewood Circle SW, Calgary down in google map. Facing toward house please take left to get in unit 83B.

Host was very welcoming. He had sent a message checking in and to see if there was anything I needed. The home was clean, quiet and has everything you need. Would recommend this home if you’re looking for a peaceful get away

I stayed in Calgary for an event at Chinook mall (CIFF). Everything was accessible, and travel was straight forward. Parking was easy at the VRBO.

Quiet neighborhood. Musty smell from being in basement. Bathroom could use a deep clean on fan and rusty shower rod. Only warm water for shower Mattress comfortable

I was expecting something better that what the unit actually is especially when the listing says “newly renovated” … the unit is clearly not newly renovated, unless it was 5 years ago. the bathroom cupboard is clearly water damaged with the doors splitting apart, there are stains on the walls by the washer and dryer door, the carpet has stains, the kitchen counter top has marks all over it, and wasn’t clean when arriving, food was caked onto the counter top, some dishes were dirty, the microwave splatter cover also dirty. the bedroom trim around the door is falling apart. Marks and scuffs on every wall. The bathtub in general looks bad with the caulking spilled over in places and different colors (stains or paint?), dirt stains that didn’t clean up at all, and no drain stoppers for the bathroom sink and kitchen sink. the top to the toilet back is not the right one for the toilet, you can actually see it in the hosts pictures of the unit, wish I noticed it in the pictures. Also the electric fireplace doesn’t work.

Your statements appear to be fabricated for financial gain and are entirely untrue. You left our suite in a significantly worse condition than it was at the time of your arrival. Furthermore, you rearranged our furniture without permission, failed to comply with the established house rules, and did not adhere to the booking policies. In accordance with our refund policy, we were under no obligation to issue any refund. However, as a gesture of goodwill, we provided a refund for the unused portion of your stay. It is unreasonable to expect five-star hotel standards at a rate of $64 per night. Your conduct has been inappropriate, and we trust that justice will ultimately prevail.
