The bedroom includes a queen-size bed with high-quality linens and a Juliette balcony with sliding glass doors to bring in the fresh ocean air. IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW

- CHECK-IN PROCESS - Checking in at your FIELDTRIP home is now easier than ever. FIELDTRIP's guidebook contains everything you need to know. From reservation details, property information, check-in instructions, local recommendations and add-on services to enhance your stay, you'll find it all here.

- PARKING - Guests are limited to a maximum of 6 cars, depending on size. Renters and their daytime guests should park in the garage or driveway. There is NO on-street parking available. To avoid ticketing or towing, please ensure all cars are not extending into or blocking the sidewalk.

- PETS - Pets are permitted with the receipt of a pet fee. The fee is $150 per pet, up to 3 pets. Please inquire about Service Animals and next steps to waive the fees.

- EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT - Stay a little longer and add up to 2 hours before or after your arrival for $75/hour. Half days (11am arrival or 4pm departure) are also available for 50% of the nightly rate for the night needing to be blocked to accommodate.
- DELIVERIES - We are unable to accept packages at the homes. Please plan accordingly and utilize holding packages at the local post office or nearby Amazon Lockers.

- EVENTS / RETREATS - APPROVAL REQUIRED PRIOR TO BOOKING. Small events within our permitting requirements are considered. Written approval and an additional Event fee is required.

- PHOTO/VIDEO & COMMERCIAL USE - APPROVAL REQUIRED PRIOR TO BOOKING. Guests are welcome and encouraged to take photos for personal use (and feel free to tag us @stayfieldtrip). Drones are not permitted due to county restrictions. Please note that we charge production fees for all commercial, professional, promotional, editorial, and or revenue-generating photography and videography shot on the property. For these activities, we require payment in advance along with a signed production agreement, production insurance, and a location release. IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT IF YOUR SHOOT IS COMMERCIAL, PLEASE INQUIRE FIRST. Any guests found to be doing a commercial shoot will have their reservation canceled. Any commercial shoots discovered during or after a stay will be responsible for the production fee.

Tide House sits just one block from the sand in Manhattan Beach's iconic Sand Section, placing you steps from the Strand and some of the best beaches in Southern California. Walk to local cafés, acclaimed restaurants, and upscale boutiques in Downtown Manhattan Beach. Manhattan Village and other shopping destinations are just a few minutes away by car. LAX is less than 15 minutes away, making arrivals and departures effortless. For a day trip, Venice and Santa Monica are within a scenic 30-minute drive up the coast.

Very clean. Close to the Beach. Nice little barn restaurant right across the street. Cute little convenience store right around the corner walking distance to a Mexican restaurant. It is very nice. Enjoyed my stay.

The overall stay was okay, the location is great and the apartment is updated and modern. Very clean when we arrived except the couch absolutely reeked of dog urine from the previous guests. The couch needs to be thoroughly cleaned, we almost couldn’t sit on it due to the stench being so potent. The other really big issue we had with the place was lack of light blocking curtains in the kitchen. With the motion sensing light outside the shared entryway, the light would turn on at night all the time rendering the entire shared space as not useable for sleeping arrangements. This problem was exacerbated by also supplying inappropriately sized blackout curtains. The bedroom has a streetlight that shines directly into it and the current blackout curtains do very little from keeping the light out at night because they aren’t large enough to cover the entire window. We had to hang blankets over the windows in order to cover them properly which was a headache to say the least. The last big complaint we had was the noise from the upstairs guests every night was quite excessive. Overall, okay stay but we will be booking elsewhere in the future most likely.

The condition and odor of the couch is absolutely not acceptable, and we will be addressing this with our cleaning team immediately to ensure it’s thoroughly resolved. We also understand how disruptive the lighting and curtain coverage must have been, especially when trying to sleep, and we appreciate you pointing out the sizing concerns so we can review and correct them. Noise from neighboring guests is never ideal, and we’re sorry that impacted your stay as well. While we regret that your experience fell short, your detailed feedback is invaluable and will help us make meaningful improvements.
