Garden View room at 'Sherwood Forest' Shared Family Home - designed for wellness

Guests who stay in our 'Private Suite' love the place so much that we decided to open our Garden View room in the family zone.

When you stay in the Garden View room, you are very much part of the rhythm of nature.

The double room has sheer curtains to allow the sun to gently wake you in the morning.

Step out onto the covered deck overlooking the back garden where resident ducks, hens and honey bees roam the garden freely, and trees produce fruit. Start your day in meditation and natural health.

Forage for herbs in the garden and cook up a storm in the designer kitchen complete with gas cooking, instant boiling water tap, and a fridge with ice and filtered water dispensers. If you love a BBQ there is a super barbeque on the covered deck.

Enjoy a relax with a book or board game in the lounge with a natural wood burner fireplace for radiant heat, or watch the sun setting with a wine from the front deck overlooking the bee garden, complete with outdoor fire pit for a natural cooking experience or simply toasted marshmallows. A camping experience without the pack up and pack down, and way more comfortable!

Winter, summer, spring, autumn ... anytime of year this Tauranga home is fantastic to visit.

When you stay in the Garden View room, you use the shared full bathroom with double recline tub and high pressure shower and laundry facilities are available for guest use (shared with family hosts who live on site)

Enjoy either your own quiet time in your private room, or in any of the shared spaces, or chat with your host, other guests and enjoy some connection.

Most of our guests are into eco and sustainability practices, home and garden design, health and wellness, Urban design, food and cooking, nature and adventures in nature.

We have bicycles available for guest use during their stay, and there are plenty of lovely local walkways to wander.

The cats and dogs are super friendly and love pats. You'll make new best friends when you stay here!
