Located in Roma, Outback QLD. Step inside Herbgully Cottage and be swept away to a bygone era of vintage charm and laid-back comfort. This respectfully restored 1940’s two-bedroom cottage offers a rare, calm and quiet country escape in Outback Queensland. Original features of the cottage include the tongue and groove timber walls, hand crafted timber French doors, cast iron enamel bathtub and bathroom basin and local pine floors. You have your own small private native garden which attracts many birds, and a path leads through the garden to approximately 3 acres of west facing country to watch the sunset, have a campfire and star gaze. There is no routine, no rush, just a soft kind of presence, unfolding moment by moment. Western QLD Spirit, Outback Queensland's small batch, hand crafted spirit distillery is located next door.

We have lived in Roma for over 20 years. We cherish the laid back country lifestyle and friendly community. Being able to be still, hear the birds, or sit under the stars and just be feels like such rare gift in today's hectic world. We feel so lucky to be able to enjoy this lifestyle that we really want to share it with others.

The sunsets in Outback Queensland are superb, the huge clear blue skies are breathtaking. The pace of life genuinely slows to a more natural rhythm and true beauty emerges.
この宿泊施設の特徴
There is no other cottage farmstay accommodation in the Roma region, this is the only one. We are located next door to Outback Queensland's only small batch spirit distillery, Western QLD Spirit. Only a very short drive away we have Moorelands Bush Nursery, The Mucka Pub and of course Roma itself is only a 5 minute drive.
