A true Waterman’s Retreat getaway! Perfect for the active family or friends, come relax with panoramic views of the Atlantic. With a private access to beach and community pool and outside showers outside of pool and parking, there is no need to go anywhere else! But close to all of the amenities that N. Myrtle Beach has to offer! Smart TV’s in all 3 bedrooms plus living room and wireless internet.

A recently renovated 1,250 sq. ft., 3rd floor condo with Hog Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean views awaits you! If you love saltwater; you'll love this place. It is perfectly poised where the Atlantic Ocean joins North Myrtle Beach's Hog Inlet. This little kept secret property offers amazing views of the ocean, inlet, marsh and uninhabited island; Waites Island.

We are including 2 adult paddleboards and a kids paddleboard, as well as a 3 seater canoe to explore the adjacent inlet and estuaries. Either paddle around Hog Inlet or catch some waves and paddle surf the inlet. With the ever changing tides, access the beach from our communal dock during low tides and catch fish, go clamming or crabbing.

With 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths and a pull out couch, there is plenty of room for 1 or 2 families, or friends to enjoy the ocean and beach with a great view! Master bedroom has a King bed and a full bath with views of the water. Middle room has 2 twin beds; perfect for kids. 3rd room has a Queen. Full bath is located across from 3rd room off hallway. A Queen pull out couch is available in the living room, if needed. Relax on the balcony with a fan and people watch the beach or oversee the occasional guided kayaks and paddleboards tours; you'll never be bored!

There is also a locked storage box with chairs, an umbrella and other activities to enjoy on the beach. A public access to Cherry Grove beach is about 3 blocks away, if you prefer some waves.

We offer a full kitchen with a dishwasher and stove/oven. If you want to stay home and cook or go out to some of the fantastic restaurants available in N. Myrtle Beach; you have the option! Off the hall is a washer and dryer.

This unit is not handicap accessible; you will have to walk up 3 flights of stairs. But the view is worth it all!

A start up roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, a garbage bag, one roll of paper towels, 1 dishwasher pod and 1 laundry detergent pod ARE provided.

Beautiful location

My family and I had a wonderful stay! Beautiful location on the inlet and the place was clean and spacious. From relaxing on the beach, paddle boarding around the inlet, and searching for wildlife, it was a perfect vacation for a family. Kim was also lovely and checked it with us multiple times. We would definitely stay again!

Great Place to Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location was the best of both worlds--right where intercoastal waterway joins the ocean! The condo was spacious and clean -- the pictures don't do it justice. The owners are super nice and very informative. Great place for families!

My New Favorite Getaway

If your idea of going to the beach includes paddleboards, beach combing, and beautiful sunrises all within steps of your well-furnished condo - this is the place!! We LOVED our stay - and the owner Kim was the icing on the cake. Terrific spot, beautiful views, easy access and awesome owners!!!

Perfect!

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's clear that the hosts enjoy this property and want their guests to as well. We especially appreciated being able to get out on the water with the paddle boards and canoe! The view and location are spectacular and Kim was a very hospitable host!

Excellent Peaceful Weekend

Stayed in the property late May. Very nice setting with a great view of the inlet and tides coming and going. Very comfy king bed. Good amenities. Just what we were looking for.

Family friendly place in quiet location

Had a wonderful time at the condo. Everything is as described. Beach is accessible even during high tide or you can chill on the dock. Has all the beach chairs and toys you need. The Paddleboards and canoe are great amenities. Kim was great to deal with and we would rent again in the future.

Great for Active family

Loved being right on the inlet! The view and activities are constantly changing with the tides. The paddleboards were awesome to take out and explore the salt marsh and / or Waites Island. Very comfortable condo. They provided paddleboards, life jackets, very nice beach chairs, and even beach toys and a grill if you wanted it. Owners were very responsive and checkin was easy!! One of our best vacations with adult children !!! We would love to return some day.

Pictures don’t do it justice

My husband, 10 year old step son, 2 of his friends and I spent a long weekend here in early September. We had a wonderful time fishing from the dock during high tide and searching for hermit crabs during low tide. We had so much fun, and never even made it down to the actual beach! We will absolutely be back!

Amazing location and great owners!

The location is beautiful with access to both the main beach and canal system. Property comes with dock, canoe and paddleboards. Kids loved fishing, canoe rides, and hunting for crabs and shells. We saw pelicans, cranes, sea gulls etc and loved listening to the birds at dawn and dusk. Paddle across the way to the natural beach for bigger crabs and more exploration. We saw groups riding horses and taking paddle tours.. so much to do! Views from inside the unit and from deck are amazing. Great for families and avoiding the spring break crowd. Owners were so easy to work with and very responsive to issues/ questions. We had a blast!

a tranquil place with the Best view of the sunrise

I had a wonderful time at Kim's condo. Her place had everything we needed. The condo is spacious, comfortable, and very cozy. The Sunrise on the back porch is breathtaking. Kim's hospitality is out of this world. We felt very welcomed! The bonus part is Kim provides the canoe. We took the opportunity to explore the nearby island and the sand bar. My nephew had so much fun looking for shells and hermit crabs. we enjoy the condo so much that we didn't want to leave. I highly recommend this place to everyone. We are looking forward for our next stay. Thank you, Kim, for being a very wonderful hostess!

Family Fun without the large crowds

This 3 bedroom condo was perfect for everyone. Swimming, a private dock that is only shared with a few people, an 8' deep pool that was very clean, a canoe, 3 paddle boards, games for the beach, chairs, and many more extras. And if you like to fish it perfect for that too. If you have a family that likes to explore but doesn't like all the crowds of the beach, you have found the right place. We cooked several meals in the well stocked kitchen, and really enjoyed the 3 smart tv's in each room. From the master bedroom you have a beautiful view of water and the sunrise each morning. And the balcony is so relaxing. It is a very family oriented place. The owner was wonderful to work with. We love this inlet and hope to come back soon.

BEST SPOT IN MYRTLE BEACH

This condo was perfect. It was quiet - your backyard is the beach! But not oceanfront with the crowds. Yes, you can walk to the oceanfront, but right out front is the river. There is so much to do! We made great use of the paddleboards and canoe - going across to the uninhabited island to fish, swim and crab for the day. We crabbed, fished and swam right out front off our dock! The pool was clean and barely ever had anyone there! The place was clean and stocked well. Beds were comfortable and all the amenities were there. When we compared it to other rentals - the location just did not compare. The owners were super responsive as well. I would totally go back to this unit and hope no one else finds out because it's so perfect!

A hidden Gem

Kim is absolutely amazing along with her condo! My family and I were in need of a relaxing, fun getaway for a long weekend. We literally never come to Myrtle Beach because of the noise and crowds...well we will be back! The location of Kim's "home away from home" is perfect...it does not feel like MB at all. Her condo is at the Northern most tip of Cherry Grove so you have the inlet and the ocean to enjoy either by relaxing on the bacony, dock, paddle boards or canoe. Public beach access is also only about a 5 min walk through a very cute neighborhood. As long as you pick up your groceries coming in, you would not have to get back into your car for the entirety of your trip. Her condo is decorated in beach decor, cleanliness is top notch, and the master bedroom is extremely relaxing with a beautiful view. I would highly recommend this condo for the family that loves to play and explore together.

Boundless wonder!

so peaceful stepping out on the balcony and being surrounded by the water and slower pace nature of the inlet. Endless beauty and calming scenery make this truly a waterman’s retreat! and with paddle boards and a canoe at the ready the opportunity for boundless wonder awaits!

Beautiful place

We loved our stay so much we stayed an extra day. Location is perfect and sunrise on the porch over the ocean/inlet is breathtaking. Loved this place and will stay again!!

A great place to be

The owners of this property were constantly checking in with me during the stay to make sure to be the best host they could be. We had a wonderful time and an excellent location to experience Cherry Grove beach and the Waites Island to the fullest. Would recommend this location to anyone that wants to relax and enjoy their vacation.

Absolutely Perfect!

I cannot express just how much we loved staying at Waterman’s Retreat! Kim, the host, was very helpful and we knew if we needed anything she was there for us. There are so many fun things to do from paddle boarding, canoeing, crabbing, or just exploring the creek. We saw so much sea life just steps from the condo. The kids and adults alike had a blast. Thank you so much!!!

Tremendous location and view from the condo to the inlet and beyond to the Ocean .

Wonderful owners to deal with! Could not have a better location and accommodations, as the second floor had a great view of the Inlet and Ocean. The condo was clean and comfortable. Great parking and an available pool that our grandson much enjoyed. The owners checked in with us frequently. Can’t imagine a better condo in North Myrtle! And would return except we ended up buying a condo nearby for our future use.

Fun and comfortable place to stay!

In short this place is great and we had a wonderful family trip! The location is great for easy access to the beach and going to get food and local attractions. We really enjoyed being able to wake up, watch the animals (and people) start their day, and walk out into the sand whenever we wanted. It was easy to use the dock to get to the inlet beach, fish, or birdwatch during low or high tide. The view over the marsh and Hog Island is really serene and we saw a lot of birds during our week long stay. The fishing right in front of the dock is good for croaker and pinfish, and there are tons of Bluecrab all over. Inside the condo is very comfortable with plenty of seating and entertainment. The kitchen is very well appointed and we had everything we needed for everything we cooked during the stay. The owners were very helpful and have great pre-arrival info they send. At all times they were easy to reach by email and we were happy to get their suggestions for restaurants. Highly recommend this nice retreat!
