Perched on a ridge near the Mangawhai Estuary, this laid-back, family-friendly holiday home offers a welcoming coastal escape with all the comforts of home. Designed for easy holiday living, its the perfect base for families or groups looking to unwind and explore the area.
The spacious front lawn provides plenty of room for parking and summer games, with a set of swings nestled among olive and pohutukawa treesideal for keeping little ones entertained. A single secure garage adds extra convenience, whether you're bringing bikes, boards, or beach gear.
Step out onto the upper deck, a great spot to relax with a drink or enjoy an alfresco meal. Surrounded by greenery and with glimpses of the sparkling ocean across rooftops, it offers a peaceful outdoor setting that feels tucked away while still being close to everything.
Inside, the bach features four bedroomstwo with king beds, one with a queen, and a fun bunk room that sleeps fouralong with two modern bathrooms (one on each level). The fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living areas make it easy to settle in and enjoy your stay.
You're just a 5-minute walk from the Mangawhai Estuary Reserve, perfect for water activities, and a 10-minute stroll from the Mangawhai Museum and Mangawhai Activity Zone (MAZ). Both Mangawhai Heads shops and Mangawhai Central are a short 5-minute drive away, and the beach is just 7 minutes down the road.
Please note the following:

This property does not have a large water tank so it is important to be careful with water use.
The stairs in the house have wide gaps between the banisters so may not be suitable for toddlers.

LINEN OPTIONS: To keep your holiday more affordable, for this property we offer linen as an optional extra for guests who prefer to bring their own. If you choose to bring your own linen, you will need to supply top and bottom sheets, pillowcases, towels and bath mats. Pillows, Duvets and Duvet covers will be provided.
Alternatively, a rental linen package is available for $25 per person. To request this service, please add a note to your booking specifying the number of people requiring linen and which beds you would like prepared.
BOOKING PAYMENT: Although your credit card details are taken during the booking process, we won't automatically charge your credit card. Once your booking is approved we will send you a payment email with a choice of credit card payment (a 3% surcharge applies) or bank transfer (no charges).
