Tom was very friendly and responsive. The house worked so well for our party of 9 people. It was so nice to stay somewhere with so many bedrooms and bathrooms, and multiple comfy spaces to hang out together.

The host was very helpful when we had a request during our stay. It was wonderful that every bedroom had its own bathroom. We were concerned that it was advertised as parking up to 10 cars. We had some family cancel this trip so we only had 2 cars. If we had all of the family there it would have been 4 cars and it would have been a tight squeeze as the parking is stacked 2 deep, front to back, in the parking area and the host had 2 to 3 cars parked in the area also. There was plenty of kitchen space, but since the main kitchen was not to be used for cooking, the kitchen people were isolated in the prep kitchen during meal prep and clean up.

Hello! We’re Holly and Tom, a friendly, well-traveled couple passionate about hospitality and cultural exchange. I teach hospitality management in Canada and am pursuing a doctoral degree. Tom works in logistics.
We host guests in our beautiful home in Vietnam and now also in British Columbia. We love meeting people, enjoying nature, sharing local tips, and creating warm, welcoming spaces for respectful, curious travelers from around the world.

We chose this neighborhood because it offers the perfect balance between quiet residential charm and unbeatable convenience. Located just minutes from Surrey Central, this peaceful area is ideal for families, groups, and business travelers alike.

What we enjoy most is how walkable and well-connected everything is—Gateway SkyTrain Station is just a 10-minute walk, making it easy to explore downtown Vancouver, Burnaby, and beyond without needing a car. Plus, essential shops like Walmart, T&T Supermarket, and Central City Mall are all nearby, along with tons of local restaurants, cafes, and takeout options.
