We needed a comfortable VRBO at a convenient location for family gathering and this was well suited. The easy parking at the front door was especially welcoming for 'two little old ladies', no steps or hallways to negotiate. Our hosts were quick to respond to some special requests and very hospitable regarding a leisurely checkout on the Sunday of Daylight Savings change!

The apartment is new with updated furnishings. The decor is tasteful and blends beautifully with the spectacular view of the Puget Sound. The location is perfect, just a minute or 2 outside of Des Moines, between Seattle and Tacoma - about 10 minutes from SeaTac airport. The hosts were responsive and answered any questions we had. This is located in a well established neighborhood and close to restaurants and views of Mt. Rainer.

The apartment was every bit as fantastic as the photos. Most gracious hosts I've ever stayed with. They made sure we had what we needed and were very unobtrusive about it. Everything we wanted to do was within a day trip and it was central to visiting family in the area. We lacked for nothing and loved being there at Puget Sound. I hope to stay every time I come to visit my grandchildren.

Beautiful, restful, peaceful and fun family stay

My family had a great time in Des Moines in this rental. The view was beautiful and we loved waking up to it every morning. The place had everything we needed and was a perfect fit for me and my two sons. The hosts were hospitable and responsive. When I asked if our family nearby could spend time there with us during the day, they said yes and the living spaces were perfect for our meals and game times. We needed a kitchen item and Sue brought it down to us in minutes. They left us snacks that we all enjoyed.The place is beautifully and thoughtfully put together and you could see Puget Sound from all areas of the space (except the bathroom).The couch, chairs, bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. My kids loved using the telescope.This is a great place to stay and we would return!

Lovely ground floor (no steps) unit, with absolutely beautiful views of the sound. The unit was clean, very nice walk in shower with excellent water pressure, and comfortable seating to enjoy the view.

The whole experience was wonderful from beginning to end. Susan was very communicative from the beginning and throughout. Check in was easy. The place was spotless and BEAUTIFUL. The bed is extremely comfortable, the view is stunning. It has everything you need to feel at home and is in a great neighborhood. To top it all off, Susan left a very sweet gift for our toddler that he absolutely loves.
