Dog-Friendly Vail Studio Condo in the Heart of Lionshead Village – Steps from Eagle Bahn Gondola! Enjoy nearly ski-in/ski-out access to Vail Mountain, just one block from the gondola. Take in stunning Vail Mountain and village views from your private balcony, whether you're sipping your morning coffee or unwinding with happy hour. Step outside to find world-class skiing, shopping, dining, and entertainment right at your doorstep. Plus, the Lift House is on the Town of Vail's free bus line, offering easy access to all that Vail Village has to offer.

STUDIO FEATURES: Inside your studio is a queen size bed and 1 full bathroom. A kitchenette that is equipped with a half-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. The living space boasts a queen sofa sleeper, gas fireplace, TV and balcony.

Located in the Lift House Lodge, guests enjoy a collection of on-site amenities designed to elevate the Vail experience. The highlight is the fourth-floor rooftop hot tub, a guest favorite and the perfect place to unwind after a day on the mountain—soak under open skies while taking in the alpine atmosphere, whether it’s fresh snowfall in winter or crisp mountain air in summer. Additional conveniences include elevator access to all floors and coin-operated laundry facilities. The building is pet-friendly (welcoming up to two dogs; fees apply) and offers limited first-come, first-served parking for a nightly fee ($50 per night during the winter season and $30 per night in non-winter months), with the Lionshead public parking garage just steps away if the lot is full.

NO air conditioning, but the high-altitude setting and balcony access provide natural cooling throughout the day. 

Lift House Lodge Pet Policy & Fees:
We welcome up to 2 dogs per reservation. Please ask for pet friendly unit availability. A pet fee of $35 per dog, per night applies. Please note that Airbnb only allows a flat pet fee to be collected at the time of booking. If your stay requires additional pet fees (e.g., longer stays or multiple dogs beyond the flat amount charged by Airbnb), we will:
1.    Send a payment request for the remaining balance through Airbnb’s Resolution Center after booking,
2.    OR You may choose to pay the additional pet fees at check-in at the Lift House Lodge.

Location, Location, Location!

Convenient 1bedroom, 1bath in Lions Head, a very short walk to the gondola.The apartment is not spiffy but it works! It is comfortable with a tub/shower combo, good king sized bed, full size bathroom with sink separate from tub and toilet. There is an efficiency kitchen, TV and couch with a balcony overlooking the main pedestrian walkway in Lions Head. Everything you could need is a quick walk away! It’s great to walk on the path to Vail for dinner and shopping. Very well priced… for skiing.

Great location. Literally steps to the gondola. Condo is older but well maintained on an elevator building. Bed area separated from living room by a wall unit of shelves and cabinets. Nicely appointed. Loved the bed.

Great location! Good price for the being right in the village. Room is feeling it's age and needs to be updated. The bed was like a ROCK, very uncomfortable. The gas fireplace was nice.

Dated Condo with Bad Smell

Although the location of this property is great (overlooking the Lions Head Village Square), the unit itself left much to be desired. The first thing we noticed when we walked into to condo was that the sliding glass door to the balcony was left ajar. Once we entered into the small kitchenette, we knew why! The smell was terrible. Housekeeping must have left the door open to air out the condo. We summarized that the smell was coming from the garbage disposal. We repeatedly put baking soda down the disposal, turned it on, ran water, etc., but the smell never went away. Furthermore, although we found the unit relatively clean, the fixtures were extremely dated - the commode, shower and bathroom sink area were a throwback to the 1970s. In the shower/commode area, the fan/light was not installed properly and was hanging out of the ceiling with a big gap. Finally, my husband and I agreed that the bed was the most uncomfortable one we had ever slept on in a VRBO rental. Other things to consider were that the balcony for this unit directly overlooks the Lions Head Village playground. We didn’t mind it, but if you are looking for a peaceful retreat on the balcony, you might think again. And the unit had no air conditioning- just an oscillating fan that we aimed directly at our bed at night. We were there over Labor Day weekend when it was somewhat warm during the day and cool at night, but I can’t imagine staying there in the heat of the summer. We would not stay here again!

I liked the location so close to Gondola and ski school for kids. Right in front of the Arabelle. It is a little run down and very loud due to thin walls and roof No oven just a little microwave and mini fridge. Did not receive upgrade or any treat for my Expedia status ☹️

Lionshead Village ski in/out

Can’t beat the location of this unit. Was slightly small in square footage for our family of four due to large age discrepancy of our kids. Unit was clean and comfortable. Sofa bed was memory foam and was better than average. Nice surprise that the kitchen had a small range/oven combo. We did not have a vehicle but parking would have been expensive and not covered.

In the heart of lionshead

This was close to the gondola in lionshead and connected to shops and restuarants in the heart of lIonshead. GREAT location for this quaint place.
