Family Visit 2026

We stayed here during our transition from AZ to TX. House was clean and well stocked for daily needs. Great location was a plus too!

Home away from home

After being transferred away from the Texas whenever we have the chance to come back and visit family and friends we always call Debra for one of her properties. It’s like our home away from home. Everything is always welcoming and just right!

Great Stay

Our stay at the Under the Tree property was great. The house was perfect for our visit to the Woodlands for the Ironman. Debra was awesome to work with and I would highly recommend the house.

A Very Comfortable Home

Under a Tree was a rgeat place to stay. The kitchen furnishings were great. The first floor was very comfortable. Could have used a chair in the main bedroom.

Great stay in the Woodlands

We were in town for a wedding with 6 adults and wanted to rent a house instead of a hotel. Under a tree was a great house that was perfect for us and the proximity to mall and restaurants was great. Really enjoyed the walking trails and ease of meeting with others in our family that also had rented VRBOs. Highly recommended!

Clean and Comfortable

All of us thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay in this clean & extremely comfortable house. There were many “extras” that made the stay very pleasant. The location worked well for us as everything we needed was in close enough distance yet we felt we were secluded in the neighborhood without all the hustle and bustle. I’m already looking forward to our next trip to the area and hope this property is available when we return!

Nice clean cozy home with new updates, lovely yard, and all the items needed - kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, toys, books etc. for a very comfortable stay. Owners were quick to answer questions. Thanks!

Family Wedding weekend

We were in The Woodlands for my son’s wedding weekend, and couldn’t have picked a better house for family. Location was ideal and in a lovely neighborhood. House has plenty of room, and even a great play area for our two year old grandson. The host, Debra, was awesome. She responded quickly and was so helpful. Would definitely stay again if we are ever back in town.

Great for work conference at Waterway!

Myself a few work colleagues booked this house for a large conference at the nearby Marriott Waterway. Was a perfect option for looking to save our company money from 4 hotel rooms. Easy trip to the Waterway area, very clean and quiet, great amenities and room to get some work done. Really appreciated the hospitality, even above and beyond by helping me locate a missing shirt! Clean home that is well stocked with supplies. Location is perfect and neighborhood is quiet, safe and walking paths are just across the street. The hosts are quick to reply and offer assistance or answers. The only thing that was different from the listing was the backyard was not as well manicured as the pictures suggest. A small thing and would still give the house a 10/10.

Welcoming Summer House

What a gift it was to have this house to land in for the summer between selling our home and moving overseas. Debra and Matt were lovely to work with as the managers for this house. They were welcoming to us and our dog and quick to respond to any issues that arose over two months. The neighborhood is lovely and close to a tree-covered walking path. There are numerous parks within walking distance. It’s a 5-10 minute drive to the Pavilion, Market Street, Hughes Landing. Thanks for hosting us!

Great option

We had to move out of our home for an entire month due to a renovation, and Under the Tree House became a wonderful refuge for our family. The house had everything we needed, it was spotless, and communication with Debra and Matt was always prompt and efficient. It's conveniently located near all the main attractions in The Woodlands. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!
