Very clean property, seamless check in/out process. Was exactly as described and pictured in the listing. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials. You can see the tops of a few rides at Waldameer from the front door, excellent location if you are visiting the park for the weekend. Would come back to this location.

Property was very clean and relaxing would highly recommend staying here... The host from evolves communication was horrible messaged several times with no reply from her had to call support to get my check-in instructions..

I liked the check in process how we didn't need to wait on anyone and the property was very clean and organized well. What i didn't like was how this was advertised as a beachfront property and the pictures of sand made it seem that way as well, which was not the case. I was sold a beach house and that's not what i got. There was construction on the road and the neighborhood didn't look great. When i went to the backyard with mu son, the dog next door just kept barking so we didnt enjoy it at all.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the location and would like to clarify that we do not advertise as a beachfront property, though we do highlight the private beach access available to our guests. While the road construction and neighborhood aesthetics are outside of our control, we are sorry for any frustration they caused. Regarding the neighbor's dog, we have addressed this with the owners to ensure a more peaceful environment for future stays. Thank you for helping us improve the guest experience.

Zen Haven was a very clean, comfortable place to stay. The host was quick to answer when we had a slight problem unlocking the front door. The front of the property has a very small parking pad and it's much easier to park around the back and come through the back door. Although the property description states water view and beach view, I'm not sure I would agree. But, the location is fantastic to many different beaches. Kelso Beach looked nice, but unfortunately is not dog friendly. Thankfully, it's only minutes to the Presque Isle beaches, with Beach No. 6 being very dog friendly. Although Zen Haven appears to be fenced in, the fence only went 3/4 of the way around the yard. Luckily I brought portable fencing and was able to fence it off. Still, my small dog was able to escape through the gate as it's slightly off. The neighbors on both sides have dogs but neither of them were bothersome. It was a lovely stay, and we will definitely keep Zen Haven in mind for future trips to Erie.

The home itself was clean, nicely remodeled, and well-equipped with the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.However, I found parts of the listing very misleading. The photos prominently feature the beach, and the description states that the property is "just steps from Kelso Beach." While the property is near the lake, there is no direct beach access from the home. Reaching Kelso Beach requires about a 20-minute walk through a residential neighborhood.The listing also mentions watching sunsets from the private patio. The patio does not face west and does not offer sunset views. It also describes the home as a "lakefront getaway." A week before our trip, there was a new review mentioning that the property did not overlook the lake as the listing seemed to suggest, and, while disappointed, I adjusted my expectations regarding the view.A few additional notes for future guests: the photos show fencing around part of the yard, but the yard is not fully enclosed, which may be helpful to know if you are traveling with a dog. Also, the property is very close to Waldameer Park, and sounds from the rides and park guests can be heard during operating hours.Overall, the house itself was comfortable and updated, but future guests should be aware that the beach and lake access are not as immediate as the listing may suggest.
