Very clean and well-maintained house. The location is central and parking on the street is easy (we always found a good spot). Our host responded quickly to anything we asked.

Great place to stay with friends & family. The location and parking were convenient. I had some issues with the booking but host was very helpful and responsive thru out the process and was kind enough to block the day that I wanted.One thing to note — someone is renting the basement but the renters were super chill and kind, so it didn’t end up being an issue.I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

For the price, we felt a bit underwhelmed. With fees and taxes, paying nearly 1,000 Canadian dollars per night, there were areas that could certainly be improved. To list a few:-bathrooms had no hand towels. Had to search for those in house after using restroom-kitchen did not have a cutting board-main bedroom had holes in the wall with electrical wires where a simple cap could have been placed to make the property feel less “being renovated”-there was obviously a tenant in a separate living space in the basement. This was not clearly listed on the rental listing. The lock on that door was a simple “push” lock on the door handle. We travel with four young kids and this did not provide a level of security we were particularly comfortable with. Deadbolt at minimum would have been better.-front entrance lighting was quite dim. We had two elderly friends who visited comment they were afraid of missing steps while exiting the homeCommunication with host was great. They helped us obtain a pack n play for our youngest child. Overall, great location. We are by no means fancy travelers, but we did expect higher quality for the price.

Pros:Location- safe area, walking distance to restaurants and shops, easily accessible for Ride SharesHost Communication- Host was accommodating early on and responded quickly. Was Thankful for that!Cons:-Furnished like a Frat House and looked like it was recently used as one. Couch sat 3 Maybe 4 people. Had stains on it-Beds were extremely uncomfortable. We dealt with it for the one night we slept there. Definitely couldn't have spent any longer time -Night stands falling apart or furniture seemed like it came from a Dollar Store- Don't plan on cooking or washing dishes in the "gormet kitchen". The kitchen itself is beautiful, it has barely anything you need. Not one pot holder to pull things out of the oven and no dish towels- missing light fixtures throughout as well as lightbulbs.-door handles missing from a bedroom door, our friends had to call us to let them out-Towels smelled like they may have not been washed and just thrown in dryer with dryer sheet, USE bleach please!House has good bones, but was definitely purchased by an investor who has never stepped foot in the house and is just collecting the cash. Feel bad for anyone trying to enjoy a nice long vacation in Vancouver and get stuck with this Rental.
