Welcome to The View, a relaxed yet refined coastal escape just 15 minutes from Hobart’s CBD. Recently renovated and thoughtfully decorated, every space is designed to maximise the stunning vistas over Kingston Beach. Spend sunny mornings on the internal patio, watch a movie in the upstairs TV room, or gather around the 12-seater dining table for long, leisurely meals. With room for up to 11 guests, it’s ideal for families or groups of friends.

The home spans multiple levels. The top floor features a king master suite with sweeping ocean views and an additional queen room. The first floor offers a queen room overlooking the deck and a triple king-single bunk room with a full bathroom. On the ground floor, a king bedroom with ensuite and partial sea views completes the sleeping arrangements.

At the heart of the house, the kitchen and living area is bright, spacious, and fully equipped, with a large fridge with filtered water, a double Belling oven with induction cooktop, and an adjoining BBQ area for alfresco dining. Entertainment comes naturally here, with a pool table and a working pianola to keep things lively while you cook or unwind. After a day exploring, retreat upstairs to the TV room with its large smart screen for movie nights.

Kingston Beach is just a short walk away (or quick drive), while local favourites like Robbie Browns, Boho at the Beach, and Zero81 Napoli are close by. On Sundays, enjoy live music and a laid-back vibe at the Salty Dog.

Please note: the home sits atop a steep drive and has 35 steps across its three levels. This elevation delivers the incredible views, but may be challenging for guests with mobility issues. Before booking, review our house rules — parties, excessive noise, and smoking are not permitted, and fines may apply for breaches.

Perfect stay for large groups

Wonderful stay for our family of 12 from baby to grandparents. The kitchen was a dream - well stocked, had every appliance, utensils & crockery we needed & more. The pool table, piano, board games & books were welcome activities. Towels were plentiful, the views were breathtaking. It was a lovely spot as a base for day trips around Hobart

Spacious, sweeping views. Everything was perfect

On arrival, we were greeted by a lovely gift basket of local treats. Four of the five bedrooms had gorgeous sweeping views of Kingston beach, along with the lounge room and enclosed patio. Everything was well stocked to make our stay very comfortable. The kitchen and bbq were amazing. The pianola, pool table and game’s cupboard kept everyone entertained. The beds were comfortable, property was clean, and the host was responsive to any queries we had. We would happily stay again!

The View is spot on

Very aptly named, my whole family (11 people) had the greatest week in Kingston Beach. The house had plenty of space for everyone, fully stocked with everything you’d need in the kitchen, toilet paper and towels, games, books and the piano and pool table kept us all entertained for hours. The welcome hamper and bubbles, bread, butter and fruit was a lovely touch to get us going when we first arrived. Attentive hosts let us use the house as our own and we couldn’t recommend a better place to stay. Would love to do it all again in the future. Thanks for letting our family stay in such a beautiful location.
