Grasmere B&B Cottage

Looking for a quick getaway to the Yarra Valley? Unwind and relax at Grasmere Cottage set on our 32 acre farm and just a short hop away from some of Victoria's finest wineries and wedding locations. Experience the joy of sharing the property with alpacas, cows, chickens and wildlife. Bookings for three nights or more will receive a complimentary cheese platter. We allow small dogs at the Cottage (under 10kg) but if your pooch is larger - you can always book our second property Grasmere Lodge.

This one bed cottage is a great place to unwind in the heart of the Yarra Valley amidst some great wineries and restaurants.

Our cottage kitchen is equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, tea, cereals, milk, toaster and microwave cooker, while the bathroom has towels, shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, body lotion and a hairdryer.

If you're not visiting a restaurant for your evening meal, there are some great takeaways and a Woolworths and Aldi in nearby Wandin and Seville.

There is plenty of parking at Grasmere Farm. Guests can either park under the carport or next to the cottage on the side of the drive.

Please make your way slowly down our drive as we sometimes have a family of ducks crossing.

Rural, farming, wineries

Grasmere Farm is not near to any public transport and so a car is important. Taxis will come to Gruyere, however Uber may not.

Grasmere Farm is located close to many wedding venues including Vines of the Yarra Valley, Stones of the Yarra Valley, Seville Estate, Coombe Estate, The Riverstone Estate and many more.

Along with the fabulous local wineries there are also some local take-aways and supermarkets nearby.

We're just four km from the Lilydale to Warburton Trail. You can ride or walk the trail which is 40km one-way.

The Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail is one of Australia’s iconic Rail Trails which meanders through the Yarra Valley between the Dandenong Ranges & the Great Dividing Range.

Enjoy the spectacular views of the Yarra Ranges National Park. Pass through beautiful bushland, wineries & farmlands.
