We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Great location close to bush walks. Comfy beds and the fire warmed the house really well.

Loved this cute little place. It was warm and cosy in some terrible weather. It may be little but it had everything we needed.

Great location. Lovely house and garden. Very clean with well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Enjoyed the great selection of games. Would visit again. Good communication by host.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Peel Cottage. It’s a charming and well-equipped place with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We especially appreciated the peace and quiet, as well as the cozy bedrooms and very comfortable beds. The extensive garden is beautiful. We loved watching the fantails and listening to the lively chorus of native birds. We would happily stay here again.

The cottage is lovely, cosy,clean and fully equiped kitchen. Very comfortable bed. The location and surrounding gardens are great, very peaceful and quiet. We loved having the fire place which we did use, very efficient and so cosy.The owners were great to deal with, excellent communication with entry details.We would stay again and recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the area.

Cute little cottage. Well appointed, comfortable firm mattresses. Amazing garden. Lots of lovely extra touches ie phone chargers by the bed (universal c), herbs with the salt and pepper, laundry powder in the laundry. My husband adored the marmalade. Thank you for a pleasant weekend break.

What a find! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our winter stay here at Peel Cottage. We appreciated having the fire and extra heaters available to warm it up (it was extremely cold weather) and highly recommend our strategy of parking a heater in the kitchen. The lounge was our favourite place - blazing fireplace, comfy chairs, and huge selection of board games. The bathroom stays frigid unfortunately, but it was great to have hot water on demand for a good shower. We can imagine this would be an incredible base for summertime walks and bush adventures. Even in winter, we loved getting out to Emily Falls, driving up the Rangitata road for stunning stargazing, and road trips to nearby towns. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful with our questions. Thanks for a great stay, hopefully we can make it back!
